If you're talking about the Koch brothers and the Tea Party, there is evidence for this assertion. But not all social movements are hijacked or funded by $ interests. I'm guessing you take issue with progressive movements empowering women and people of color?

The tea party arose from one Ron Paul supporter who put up a web site, in 2007, to have an online fundraiser (money bomb) and nationwide rallies on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Yes, the movement and idea were hijacked by neocons and GOP operatives. Contrary to much of what's been written, the Koch Bros were late the party. Not that it matters. Hijacked is hijacked and it's done.

You assume that women and people of color have been empowered by "progressive" movements and policies. In some cases, I would agree. In other instances I know better. In the case of minorities, specifically blacks, the welfare state is a corralling or containment operation. It was designed to keep the slaves on the plantation, out of the mainstream. There is a reason that fathers cannot reside with welfare mothers and their children. Mission accomplished. With women, the agenda is much more complex.

You were right, though. It's a subject for another thread.

ETA: To buy the ostensible or perceived reasons for many social movements and public policy is as misguided as believing that NATO is in Afghanistan to help oppressed women.

If asked, the civil deputies will escort a funeral procession, this happens most if it will be a large funeral attended by what may be hundreds of people making the procession very long which could be a hazard for other motorists.

They usually block intersections at main cross streets to the procession to keep other vehicles from entering the procession line.

By the Way, civil deputies are real police officers.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

I couldn't hear what Tiffany said, but once she got on the phone with the 911 dispatcher, she mentioned that Maytee accused her of setting them up. She didn't sound all that worried about it, IMO.

She was freaked because the police were not responding appropriately to legitimate concerns. As others noted, there were no footprints in the snow. What does this tell us about the job police did or did not do?
but she was going berzerk on the first 911 call BEFORE she even asked the police to respond. JMO

The first call was a request for police to respond.

I went through a spell where I thought Maytee may have been involved in setting up a burglary that went wrong. I changed my mind. I just think she got freaked out because she knew the element that Johnny ran with. Plenty of reason to suspect the worse when dealing with the gangsta crowd.

Wow! really? I have lived in Toledo and surrounding suburbs all my life and I don't think I have ever seen a police escort. And I have been to more than my share of funerals. I thought the police might be there bcuz so many locals feel that the murders were some how d/t someone that JC had associations with!? LOL (sort of)

I just think she is HINKY! Someone on another forum used that word to describe her and I just loved it. He said his hinky meter goes off in regards to Maytee. Why does she say to Tiff on 2nd 911 call " I think you set up my son"? Set him up for what? If she doesn't know that they are bound and dead yet what is she referring to? Yes I agree that a mother's intuition can often be correct but I just think her first 911 call is overly dramatic and she just sounds to me as if she already knows that "the robbery went horribly wrong" He was not the mama's boy she claims he was. She has kicked him out of her house and he wanted to get away from her and her entire "psycho" entourage.

I bet she had a bit of cursory information from Sharita or ? about T's background and the fact that she tends to end up with the people around her, dead.

Excellent point!!!!!

I've never seen cops at a funeral. Maybe traffic control but not in the funeral home or church. With murders like these, and the violent people associated with the victims, it's probably not unusual.

Yes, it was.

I wonder why her mind went there.

My son has called from parties and there was raucous noise and
his phone went dead and I never once thought to think he was
'abducted' or 'tied up.' (and those are quotes)

Granted he caught hell when he came home for being
disrespectful, but never once did my mind go to him being
tied up or kidnapped.

I say Maytell KNEW SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is MORE TO HER STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again.......

According to info she recieved on the FIRST phone call from Sarita/Sharita & then from Tiffany

Tiffany heard Johnny say things like "Who are you Bro" "What do you want" "What are you doing here" this also (possibly) included Johnny yelling & then his phone went dead

Tiffany then claims to Johnnys mother that she tried to call & text both Johnny & Lisa numerous times with no response.

Tiffany then claims that she drives over & gets no answer at the door

HOWEVER: The car used by Johnny & Lisa is there.

Put 2 & 2 together. I could see why Maytee would use the word abduction. Their car is there but they are unable to be reached by phone, text, or ringing of the door bell/knocking at the door when the last known contact that is known to be had is something that sounds like a confrontation & not a friendly greeting.

For those that think Maytee knows more than she's letting on (Which reading her postings on FB, it doesn't seem that she's one for keeping her mouth shut) I ask, What does Maytee have to gain in keeping anything a secret or setting up her son as some have alluded to?

Just curious because I don't get that feeling at all.

I just think she is HINKY! Someone on another forum used that word to describe her and I just loved it. He said his hinky meter goes off in regards to Maytee. i keep waffling on this. Here is where I am now.

Maytee knew Lisa's house was going to be burgled. (Whether she
planned it or not, I don't know.)
She did it when she thought Johnny was going to be with Tiff,
who she says she did not know.
Tiff changed her plans. (Preggers gals do that all the time.)
Which caused Johnny to be home when the house was being burgled.
Which suggests that Maytee places the blame for Johnny's demise
onto Tiff because she altered the schedule.

Very interesting!!!!

Firmly disagree. Tiffany has a history of running with a group that robbed and beat people. Her X is dead, because of that. In fact, I would venture to guess that this same crew are a good bet for involvement in the JC/LS case. The motive for murder and tying up the victims might also be linked to the death of D.C. The group of thugs may not have wished to take any chances on retribution, this time.

Does anyone know who was involved with the robbery on the night that Don C was shot and killed?

I personally know the man that lives at the house they were trying to rob. I also know through others the man that shot and killed DC. however, i dont know if i am allowed to say their names on here or not. Smiley_emoticons_stumm

I want to know why the psycho ex boyfriend of Lisa hasn't been investigated. I would see her at work beat to hell..3 days ago, 1:16:17 PM – Flag –

Well, that's an interesting comment. If it's true then others should be able to confirm it.

Does anyone know if Lisa's X and T. are friends? Sorry if this has been
answered.

I just listened to 911 again and Maytee says "The girl who called me is Tiffany."

How did Tiffany know to come get Johnny's dad?

Here are my reasons for not supporting the theory, expressed by a few others, that Maytee was a participant in planning, or had advance knowledge, of the unauthorized entry and robbery:

1) From her own past criminal experience, as well as the recent revenge killing of the robber who was Tiffany's boyfriend, she knows that these things can go terribly wrong, and she is highly unlikely to have condoned her son being put at risk to this extent; and

2) If she was involved in its planning or execution, and you believe that Tiffany was involved, then Maytee and Tiffany would have known of each other's involvement, in which case Maytee would certainly not want to antagonize Tiffany now by writing the things she has written attacking, accusing and condemning Tiffany.

In short, it is not logical to believe that both Maytee and Tiffany were involved in the planning or execution of the unauthorized entry and robbery.

If you pick one, you exclude the other. I pick Tiffany and exclude Maytee.

hi...i just got back here and caught up i think.
to Net, you asked how long before phone records come back to police---
as fast as the phone company complies. Smiley_emoticons_wink

also you asked: She was freaked because the police were not responding appropriately to legitimate concerns. As others noted, there were no footprints in the snow. What does this tell us about the job police did or did not do?

i'm not sure what you're driving at. assume the killers drove into a clean driveway, walked through an open gargage door...where would there be footprints in the snow? what did the police do/not do wrong? they didn't have a no-knock warrant or exigent circumstances which would allow them to force entry.

and yes to whoever asked, we don't need the sociological/political crud in this thread, start another topic. thanks~
