Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

There is no doubt that was probably done. The investigators should have swabbed all relatives and those assosicated with the case. Even as the investigation progresses, swabs should be taken of any persons of interest. It is standard practice in most felony investigations.

The detective at the Pettaway trial said they got DNA from everyone they interviewed.

Also Julia Bates was NOT on Pettaway's team

The nme of E.T. may not have been printed in the Blade and may be foreign and new to many people who attended the trial. But, according to cops who testified (Kozak) Eric was one of the people who they took DNA from....he was cleared. Several people were named at court after DNA cleared them. Alex, Tiff, AP, Destiny, and E. T. just to name a few. So, there was some knowledge of his name being hinted for involvement at one point. This info would be really easy to get off of the streets from friends within the community. I do know that Yingling is from the same area as Williams and Cam so I find it hard to believe that they do not have friends that run in the same crowd.
I would really like to know the truth about reward money because I had heard that Yingling may have come into some cash after he took the stand. At one point the reward money was very high....does anyone have any knowledge of Yingling getting the crimestopper reward? Another thing that I found very odd was that the Detective testified on the stand that Yingling had knowledge of the Iraq Dinars and said the Williams called it funny money. the detective stated that the Iraqi Dinars was never released anywhere to the public and that was info that Yiingling could have only gotten from an inside source. I beg to differ about any information about the Iraqi money every being made public because that was put out there very early on and I believe that the Blade even mentioned it way prior to the trials. Friends and Family members of Johnny defintely heard about it...and it came straight from the mouths of the Clarkes. I am just simply pointing out some thing to Mockers to think about. I still believe that justice will be served....I hope and pray that this case gets handed off to a fresh set of eyes and eyes. Everything and everyone close to this case should be looked at though a microscope and see what's really going on.

I firmly believe that ONE of the perpretrators (Sam) is in the right place, but I agree that this case is more complex and justice has not been completely served.

Truth be told, Lady Cop posted up the Nancy Grace transcripts at the CASE links and facts only thread. We discussed the interview with Maytee on Mock early in the case and Dinars were talked about then.

You'd think there would be some sort of limit as to how many times a person can be suspected, convicted, let off of a crime due to mental retardation before they say "Ok send him to the nuthouse". If they aren't going to put him in jail, at least put him somewhere to keep him from hurting people again.

This reminds me of children. When you continuously threaten them and then let them get away with things, they continue to do them. Same goes for stupid criminals. "Ah I don't have anything to worry about, I'll just pull the whole retarded thing again and I'll be back on the streets in no time".

Dated October 20, 2011. Court Reporter JANET TERRY ordered. State of Ohio: JEFFREY LINGO. Defendant, CAMEO PETTAWAY present in court.

Just a clarification: Jeffrey Lingo may have represented the Prosecutor's Office at one of Pettaway's early appearances, but I was at both trials; Pettaway's trial was prosecuted by Asst. County Prosecutors Louis Kontouris and Tim Bauer and Williams was prosecuted by Asst. County Prosecutors Jeffrey Lingo and Robert Miller. When Julia Bates, as Lucas County Prosecutor, is mentioned in these types of court documents it is a reference to the office of the prosecutor rather than the individual appearing in court on behalf of the office.

Pettaway is making a disgusting mockery, not only of the system but of people that truly have mental deficiencies. I said it before and I will say it again, if he is that freakin' (refuse to use the word) then just gas the #@*, I mean, he is to stupid to understand anyway...right ?

Since we all know that it was made very public about the Dinars...doen't it seem odd that the lead Detective would take the stand in Sam Williams trial and state that the Dinars "were never public knowledge". With that and other things that I personally observed in this investigation, it makes me walk way with that feeling of "how well do the Detectives actually know their own case?". Yes, it should absoultely be common precedure to get a DNA swab from every single member of the victims immidiate family members to help weed them out. (Process of elimination) This still has not been done! This case needs a new agressive investigator to crack this case wide open and put everyone involved away for good.

To Truth Be Told: Detective Kozak testified at Williams' trial that DNA samples were taken from all immediate family members of both victims, as well as all police, EMT's, investigators, coroner and any other individuals (including family) who were at the crime scene prior to the bodies being removed. He also testified that this is standard protocol.

Yes, He did state that under oath....that doesn't mean that it is true. "All immediate members of both familes"...has still not been done to this date. Yes, this would and should be standard protocol. (That should be a no brainer!)
