Yeah, that's true.
There are also probably a lot of jealous lovers/spouses/exes who stop themselves from acting on fucked up revenge fantasies for their chidlren's sakes.
The ones who actually plan to take the chidlren's other parent away from them permanently and/or plan to lie to their own kids about it for the rest of their lives were probably fucked up individuals to begin with, in good times and bad. That's a level of selfishness that exceeds jealousy.
