Well her take on it is that religion is the root of all evil and that Christians murdered the Indians, but since she's only in 5^th grade she might have to change her words a bit. People get kind of offended when you tell them their beliefs are bullshit, which ironically they did to the Indians.

Somehow I wish she could see that as an event  (notice I didn't state good or bad . . . just that it was an event) and now, in the present, see if anything has changed (for the better or worse) from the same people who perpetrated this "march".

I'm sure that wasn't the assignment . . . but that, to me, is the the best indicator of an unfiltered outlook and understanding of a student (assuming the fucking lib teachers haven't perverted their minds with anti-white propaganda) of happened then and happening now.

Also an opportunity to show a student things, both pro and con, they might want to take into consideration.  No judgement . . . just details . . . hopefully without revision or spin.

You very rarely see any native Americans here, not even at the damn native American festival they have every year lol. They hire a Mexican guy to grow out his hair and put on a headdress.
