Some Cali people moved out here and painted their house. The trim and the details were all these different colors. I thought it was kinda cool and looked out of place but it sure broke up the green of the trees behind it. The only problem was the weather beat the living shit out of the paint because they either forgot to prime it or used crappy paint or something because it started peeling the next year and went into dis-repair, they never painted it again. And I could see why. It must have been a pain in the ass to do the trim in such detail and in the various colors they used. But they were nice as pie.
