No one, and I mean no one, should have the legal right to tell another person they aren't entitled to honor their love with a marriage. Who the hell do they think they are.
It's definitely a true story, though the final chapter is not complete. I'm not sure the bill will make it into law, but I really hope it does.
I'm also not sure why pappy believes Progressives would be upset about it. I imagine they would collectively be very happy to see it passed.
I can imagine Ron Reagan giving the bill a big thumbs-up.
