The husband of a mother of triplets who has been missing for seven weeks has denied claims that he has been mocking search volunteers and obstructing the investigation.

James 'Clay' Waller, who has been named a 'person of interest' in the June 1 disappearance of his wife Jacque Sue Waller, dismissed reports that he shot his middle finger at searchers 86 laughed and blew kisses at them.

Police said that Mr Waller is ‘not cooperating the way we hope he would’ in the hunt for his 39-year-old estranged wife in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
