Yeah, for a charge of misdemeanor vehicle manslaughter in California, probation is a possible sentence for all offenders (celebrities or not).
2.2. Misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter penalties
Misdemeanor—ordinary—vehicular manslaughter under Penal Code 192©(2) PC is punishable as follows:
-Misdemeanor (summary) probation,
-Up to one (1) year in county jail, and/or
-A fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).
I think if Jenner pleaded guilty, she would probably be more likely to get probation and a fine. But, if she goes to trial and gets convicted, it might mean some jail time. She could get a year, but serve considerably less.
Since she has civil suits pending against her, she might not plead guilty and admit fault.
We'll see.
