Hearing today was first time Abby and Libby’s families have seen Richard Allen since the arrest.
Reporter from HLN said he made eye contact with them for several seconds.
Biggest takeaways:
-they believe he was not the only actor in the murders
- the defense is asking to unseal the probable cause warrant - Prosecutor offered Judge to release if re-sacred primarily to not compromise investigation of other suspects and also to protect anonymity of minor witnesses. The judge will make a ruling at a later date on if should be unsealed or not, and if so, how much redaction will happen.
-next hearing is 2/17/23 for bond ( a few days after the 6th anniversary of their death)
