Likely because T was on the phone with JC that night and her story doesn't pan out? Also the X couldn't have committed the crime alone. Not to mention, he may have been checked out.

I agree that there had to be at least three intruders in the house, but I am starting to lean towards the belief that the ex-boyfriend may have been one of them, based on his SylMunCt history, the anger issue, and the reports of friends and co-workers of Lisa that he had beaten so bad it couldn't be concealed when she came into work the next day. This character apparently had no compunction about beating her; and killing her may have been the next step, especially when the new boyfriend, his replacement, was with her.
The ex BD has been questioned by police and yes he was freaked about it but i don't know more than that.
Didn't the police say there were no marks on their bodies? Which would
really be weird if old boyfriend confronted her.
