if they did, they shouldn't have taken the marker though, that is creepy, and that makes it seem like something more to me!

I don't like admitting this but after some thought I think there was probably a time in my life, as a teen, that I may have done something like that if the person was my dear friend. It's awful & certainly disrespectful but I can see a friend doing that.

You could be right, I have seen kids here in the town that I now live in, hang out in the graveyard, where I come from, Chicago, no way, the only time was if someone said it was haunted and a group would go and scare the hell out of themselves, but not taking anything. I guess though if the kids are use to going there to hang out, maybe friend would do that, take the temporary headstone..

It probably is something more but you never know if someone is wasted off their ass leaving the bar and feeling sad and sentimental. Who knows......this case is insane.
