This is where I think M did major damage to this case/cause. We all know she is out for blood from the "demons." I have a feeling they will ask her out of custom, but will rely more on what the Straubs decide.
Would I allow a plea to avoid attending a lengthy trial with the other family? Probably. They have been through enough. If a deal for life in prison w/o parole can be made, they never have to see M again. Nothing will bring the victims back, so they should save what they can.
M has victimized them over and over, she should lose her say in the matter. Plus, the Clarke family already let it out of the bag that their were "4 or 5" attackers who left DNA. I would want them all to serve life rather than just 2 die.
