These kinds of murders happen way too much. Still, every time they do, I have a hard time comprehending how a man (and sometimes it's the woman) can hate their spouse/partner more than they love their own child(ren).

From my experience jelousy and revenge can lead people to thinking or doing some awful stuff you wouldn't usually do, without being wrapped up in your fucked up head.
