Yes, imperfections in language usage can be a bit annoying.

It doesn't bug me much as long as the message is easily decipherable, but I can see how it would be bothersome to you.

To be fair to Mr. Travolta, though, I don't believe he wrote his own scripts for Kotter or Cowboy.
