Biden is said to be waiting to see what happens with Hillary's campaign before deciding whether he'll try for the Democratic nomination.

He met with popular Senator (D-Mass.) Elizabeth Warren yesterday. The Boston Globe reports that they sat down for more than an hour for a wide-ranging discussion on the economy, the middle class, foreign policy, and campaign finance.

If Hillary continues to run and Biden still makes a bid, I think it will be difficult for a lot of people who like them both. I wanna hear how their platforms differ.

Anyway, Biden needs to decide by October when the first Democratic candidate debate is scheduled.

In other news........Independent candidate Deez Nutz told Rolling Stone this weekend that he thinks Bernie Sanders is the best Democratic candidate and Kasich is the best candidate on the Republican side.

I predict a newcomer getting elected, someone that's not even declared yet.

It could happen.

An Independent has declared his candidacy and he's already polling third behind Clinton and Trump in some states.

DEEZ NUTZ has just posted his platform, some of which sounds better than a lot of the other candidates' plans to me.

He has been identified as 15-year-old Brady Olson from Emmet County, Iowa.

But if a 15-year-old going by Deez Nutz with a basic but clearly stated platform can quickly surpass all but two candidates in polls, I think it's indicative that a legally-qualified serious candidate running as "Independent" has a more legitimate shot at the presidency than ever before.

President Obama is essentially endorsing Joe Biden, before Biden has reportedly even decided to run for President. That's gotta sting a little for the Clinton camp.

President Barack Obama "has indicated his view that the decision that he made seven years ago now to add Joe Biden to the ticket as his running mate was the smartest decision he had ever made in politics," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at a briefing today.

"I think that should give you some sense of the president's view of Vice President Biden's aptitude for the top job," Earnest said.

Well c'mon... Obama never liked the Clintons so this isn't a surprise.

The fact that she is really a terrible candidate is the only reason Smilin' Joe has an opening... Joe the plagiarist looks pretty good in comparison! Plus he's so damned entertaining with all his blunders and gaffes. She's an absolute bore.

Well, I'll say this -- I'd take Biden running the country over Trump or Cruz running the country, any old day.

That's not saying much though, given that I'd take Deez Nutz over Trump or Cruz too.

Anyway, I don't know whether Biden would be preferable to Clinton; it would depend on how their policy platforms line up.

I doubt it stung at all. I'm sure they fully expected him to endorse Biden. Anything less would imply his decision for VP wasn't a good one.

Biden hasn't even declared he's in the running, Gunnar. It was previously indicated that he'd be inclined to run if Hillary's campaign looked to be in trouble.

It's one thing to give Biden a pre-primary endorsement of sorts once he throws his hat into the ring.

But, for President Obama to do so now comes across, to me, as Obama doubting Hillary's campaign longevity and encouraging Biden to run for the sake of the Democratic Party. That's a hit to Hillary and the last thing she needs right now. That's just my opinion though.

"Backdoor Man" plays in my head when I think of Biden.

"Shouldn't Have Took More Than You Gave" and "Anchors Away" . . . for Trump.

"Anarchy Burger", too, is in there . . . somewhere for someone.

He has until October and Hillary's campaign is circling the bowl as I type this. That fact that he hasn't committed to running yet is just a financial thing. He's waiting for the dems to pony up the money.
