Presidential race 2016

I haven't heard much about Jeb lately. It's almost like he's invisible.

He's been putting out ads, holding Town Halls, doing interviews............but, he still appears to be largely unnoticed by most. I don't think the time and political environment are right for Jeb Bush, no matter what his mom and his brother say. I don't know if his family name/legacy is hurting him really, but I definitely don't think it's helping him like it might have in the past.

I think Bush will do better in New Hampshire than he did in Iowa, but he'll still be near the bottom of the pack. When/if his investors finally decide to cut their losses and Bush folds, I suspect most of his support will go towards his former protegee Rubio, which will be a huge gain for Rubio.

Something all the candidates on both sides could get behind.

A handful of politicians elected by the people to run the country SHOULD, in fact, run the country, obviously.

Those citizens who want politicians to run the country based on the directives of a handful of super rich special interests and PACs can vote for those such politicians. There are plenty from whom to choose.

Well, that was a truly funny introduction to a presidential debate. I do not know what drugs Dr. Ben Carson is taking, but they must be good.

Jeb!, Christie, and Kasich all did really well tonight, I thought. Jeb! even got the better of Trump a couple of times. Good for him.

Rubio was just weird; disappointing. He kept repeating the exact same bashes on Obama when they didnt apply to the discussion at all, like a robot. And, Christie kept pointing at him and saying "see everybody, he's not ready or experienced enough to be president".

When asked about the use of torture on suspected terrorists, Trump said not only would he resume water boarding but he'd do worse.

I hope Kasich does well in New Hampshire on Tuesday. I really like his experience.

I missed it but I intend to look for a video of it later.

I saw a headline that stated Trump was booed or the crowd turned on him, something to that affect.

I know there are those who agree with torture, I'm not one of them. I don't believe it brings results. Donald Trump is a moron, a hate monger. He does not speak for me and I surely don't want him representing me. Please make him go away. Fuckin' hell.

Here's a 30 minute video of the highlights.

The first couple of minutes, the introductions, crack me up.

The Trump vs. Bush showdown on imminent domain is at the 16:45 mark. I thought Bush won that one, after which the crowd booed Trump.

Thank you very much! I just finished watching it.

A couple of things I noticed -

Trump called out Cruz for not answering the moderator's question. Donald Trump does that very thing all. the. time. He changes the subject completely and goes off on a tangent. His promises & gestures are over the top. He belongs under the big top.

I had forgotten how much I like Chris Christie (of course I don't have to pay his taxes either, so...). Too bad he's not doing better.

I think Jeb is sick of this shit and wishes he were anywhere but in it.

Cruz is a dick. The ick factor runs high in that one.

Rubio isn't suitable at all. He's little more than a child and I can see him throwing shit in private, as in, having a temper tantrum.

Rubio said something in regards to what makes a Conservative, he listed 3 maybe 4 things and as he did I thought to myself, that's what I want too, that's what everybody wants, we all aren't Conservatives FFS.

Sometimes I ask myself why I even pay attention to this, it doesn't make me feel happy, it's not fun, it sucks to feel bitchy and that's how it makes me feel.

Shut up about Kasich. He doesn't have a chance against Clinton. The GOP is out there to take over the White House. Kasich? Really? It has be Trump. Trump. Trump. Trump. The rest of the GOP candidates are losers.

If Donald has a plan if he is elected, I'm not seeing it. He's a big talker, he's grandiose and overbearing. I'd like to nail him right square in the balls. I can't get past my disdain for him, I've tried, I WANT to be fair.

I think he's hilarious. Sometimes he makes me laugh so hard I'm almost in tears. Not that that makes him qualified to be president, but I like him personality- wise.

I laugh when Bernie starts flapping his hands around and gets all excited when he gets on a tangent. His arms are flying all over and I bet if we had a shot of his face there would be spittle flying everywhere. Trump is like him a bit. Hillary reminds me of Jeb Bush for some reason. Carson scares me more than Trump does though, that guy is just weird in a doesn't even realize it way. Christy is meaner than Trump though behind the scenes, he picks a person and goes after the nutsack. Hillary in keeping with the Obama meme just says "I don't know" or "Everyone else does it" I think she believes her own lies.

Yeah, I think Kasich is one of the best of the Rebublican candidates too. He can work bi-partisan, he has a great record as governor, he's not a hate or war monger, and he's helped balance the federal budget. I don't like his views on abortion, but that applies to the whole GOP.

I think Kasich might do well in NH on Tuesday. NH has more moderates and Independents, and less evangelicals, than Iowa.

Yeah, Bernie is funny too. And what little hair he has gets crazier looking the longer he talks while Trump's hair never moves. What a bunch of freaking characters hah.

Pretty much agree with all of this, but Trump also did very well speaking on Korea (surprised the hell out of me) and he didn't really bully as much as he has previously. My prediction is Trump and Sanders in NH.

A woman who had been married three times walked into a bridal shop one day and told the sales clerk that she was looking for a wedding gown for her fourth wedding.
"Of course, madam," replied the sales clerk, "exactly what type and color dress are you looking for?"
The bride-to-be said, "A long frilly white dress with a veil."
"Please don't take this the wrong way, madam, but such dresses are usually more fitting for the first time bride who is more innocent in the ways of life, if you get my meaning."
"WELL!" replied the customer, a little peeved at the clerk's directness, "I can assure you that a white gown would be quite appropriate. Believe it or not, despite all my marriages, I remain as innocent as a first-time bride.
You see, my first husband was so excited about our wedding; he died as we were checking into our honeymoon hotel.
My second husband and I got into such a terrible fight in the limo on our way to our honeymoon hotel that we had that wedding annulled immediately and never spoke to each other again."
"What about your third husband?"
"That one was a DEMOCRAT ", said the woman, "and every night for four years, he just sat on the edge of the bed and told me how good it was going to be, but nothing ever happened."

A little snowstorm today going into the morning vote will keep a bunch of Dems at home. They're a fair weather flock. Or so I've heard.
