I like being informed. And, I typically speculate based on the facts available to me at the time, and label my opinions accordingly. I don't know everything and have no problem admitting that and standing corrected.

Obviously, that's completely counter to your style of insisting your opinions are facts even when presented with indisputable evidence to the contrary. You gotta be you and project though, I get it.
Like when you insisted dude was hurt before he was loaded into the van and arrived dead due to head injury sustained inside of the van? Was that based on the facts available to you at the time or was it a complete speculation?

That's why i'm not ruling out Trumps crew.

Your recollection is rusty again. I never insisted that Freddie Gray's fatal injury occurred outside the van. Video and witnesses suggest that Gray might have been injured before the van ride. Investigation concluded that he suffered the fatal injury while in the van. I believe it was already acknowledged in that thread that everyone who speculated that the fatal injury occurred en route -- including you specifically, upon your request of me -- was right.

I insisted the dude was hurt before he was loaded into the van and I still think that.

You both did. And since you still think that, read the following which states he was "yelling and banging which caused the van to rock." He was also seen "bearing weight on his legs." which also lends to the belief that the injuries and undoubtedly the fatal injury was indeed sustained inside the van and not prior.

If your recollection isn't rusty and you aren't mistaking Duchess' post for mine, then you're either lying or your comprehension is rusty.

Here's the thread and posts. http://mockforums.net/showthread.php?tid=11806&page=25

I understood Duchess' speculation based on the video and witnesses. Gray did appear to be injured outside the van (whether he really was or was faking). And, I said I'd wait for the autopsy report regarding the fatal injury. Which I did.

Anyway, Gunnar, I like reading everyone's speculation. There's nothing wrong with speculating. Some of us don't claim our speculation and opinions are facts and have no problem acknowledging when we're wrong. That's not your style, and that's not a problem.

I'm not talking about him being in the van. My feelings stem from what I saw when they were dragging him to the van. I believe he was injured before he was put into the van, not to the extent he was at the end of the van ride but, injured nonetheless.

That's what I recall you posting. And, it's not been ruled out that he was injured outside the van. It's only been determined that his fatal injury most likely occurred inside the van.

I was just listening to a woman on CNN who said Hillary and Bernie need to come out and condemn the protesters at Trump events. Bitch, please. That protesting is a result of Trump's own words, it doesn't have anything to do with Hillary and Bernie's campaigns.

I few years ago I read about an illegal suing an American citizen. This illegal had so little fear that he went to the friggin' courthouse and stood in the same room with with a judge and LEO's. He wasn't scared a wit. What part of illegal are people not getting? How the hell can an illegal sue a citizen of the United States? This sort of thing is appalling to me. So is the fact that they get cut a break on college tuition. There's more, like being allowed drivers licenses, etc. In my world, illegal is illegal.

Protesters are turning into mobs, the word "protesters" shouldn't even be used anymore. They should be called "organized crime henchmen" or something.

There are a great many things that are illegal and probably shouldn't be, Marijuana for example. "illegal" and "wrong" and not universally synonymous. If an undocumented person does his best to be as documented as he possibly can be under difficult and dangerous circumstances, how is it a bad thing that he attempts to drive legally, utilize our civil court system and in general be a productive member of our society?

I have said it before and I will say it again. There is no person in this country aside from those of native American heritage who is not here illegally or due to some ancestor's illegal act. We are all aliens. The fact of our legitimacy is a happy accident that we were born in the right place and right time based on arbitrary lines drawn on an imaginary map. Lines invented by the victors of a great many political maneuverings and bloody conflicts whose legality was decided by having been better at violence and mayhem than the opposing side.

And in my eyes, withholding basic human services and dignity to a human being based on the location of one's birth is no different than doing so based on race, or religion, or sex. It's abhorrent and we should as a nation be better than that by now.

We just aren't.

I would argue that not being terrified that some faceless brown boogeyman is gonna come take all my shit by picking berries until he is wealthy and raping all the white women or whatever the fuck it is guys like you believe, makes me pretty much the opposite of pussy. True cowardice is pretty easy to spot, and this year it's mostly voting for Trump.

I really don't think its discrimination, I believe its the idea that a persons taxes pay for the stay. In a world of unlimited resources it sounds great and to my ears I wish it were so but reality and dreams collide at times and in that aspect lies the twist. As many arguments for their respective lives can be weighed against their expected contributions towards society, and I'm not sure everybody is on board with the plus side of the argument.
I'm not sure myself and true equality and harmony will never be accomplished in this world or the next. So a person has to ask themselves is it gonna be me or them in their own personal lives, not what the media or any government tells you. Its not as bad as all that at least with me personally. A Martyr I am not.

There's the irony of the conservative argument, that the poor immigrants are some huge drain on resources and cheat on taxes, when the largest welfare frauds and tax evaders are our very own corporations and wealthiest citizens. To the tune of billions of dollars. And nobody bats an eye because we've all been sold this fairy tale of the invading hordes while our very own leaders are robbing us blind. I'm not saying there is no enemy. I'm just saying it's not the guys you think it is. There is a real reason our country is the mess it is, but it ain't the people scraping by on pennies washing dishes and picking fruit.
