Oh yeah calf roping!

Where a cowboy can express his masculinity by physically and mentally outwitting a juvenile moo cow!

Impressive!

I can simultaneously pin down both of my pussy cats for a 3 count! Makes me feel like a big man!

Lol.

Also the beaming smile of pride when a man catches a fish! You outwitted a trout! Good for you son!

They are bucking & kicking because they are not used to having a rider on their back, in a sense they are wild. We get the same affect when we break horses at home.

Is anything being done about all the local fairs where they do indeed tazer the animals ass and balls? If not why not? I don't know anyone who would compete at local fair level because the majority of people who enter them are what we call weekend cowboys, they haven't a clue and chances are the rider is hurt before the horse is. It would be dangerous. There are supposed to be vets & other animal welfare people making sure guidelines are met. I don't know if that happens or not. I've never been to a fly by night rodeo, they are the ghetto of the horse world.

In what way do animals being ridden in a rodeo enjoy themselves? No one has the ability to know what an animal thinks but suffice to say when they are pawing the ground & flagging their tail it would indicate they are ready and willing to go. When you spend time around an animal you become attuned to their personality.

And finally for the third attempt at the same question, would you let your horses be ridden in a rodeo? Aye or neigh (sic)? Nay, my horses are retired racehorses not rodeo broncos. Duh.

So all of the horses and bulls are essentially wild? Is that right? Are they kept in a state of wild“ness”? Or do they way one day stop going mental and think “oh fuck it, ride on my back if you want I can't be arsed jumping around like a retard anymore”?

I'm still not sure I've been watching rodeo videos including the big professional stuff and the way those animals come hurtling out the stall it looks to me like they've been jabbed or shocked or something but I could be wrong I suppose.

I can except the professional league has rules about animal welfare and safety but I still think those animals are in serious distress and trauma when they are going mental with a shit kicker on their back that they don't want there.

There must be a shitload of local flea market level rodeos out there in the south doing god knows what to their animals. That's got to be addressed surely.

I'm sure if we tazered their ass there would be plenty of life left in Duchs retired old nags! Yee haw!

Oh my god! You are not paying attention! The horses are bred for that life. We haven't moved beyond what I said earlier, get educated on the professional rodeo and get back to me and don't give me any bullshit about high school debates because I'd be willing to bet that everyone knew what they were debating. You don't even know about breeding horses in order to get what you want from that particular breed. You're driving me insane you muthafucka.

I don't give a fuck if you've been riding horses since daddy bought you a pony when you were sweet 16 and you probably had your first sexual experience while sitting astride it bitch.

I've watched the videos and those animals are clearly in a state of distress and trauma when they are being ridden in a rodeo. I don't have to be a fucking horse whisperer to see those bucking broncos are in a frenzy and they are not enjoying it at all in any way shape or form.

I have never seen a horse or bull kick, buck and jump in a frenzy like they do in a rodeo ring in their natural environment. The American cowboy is dead and gone and pestering, tormenting and exploiting animals for our “entertainment” is bullshit.

Nice to see duch has a complete blindspot where animal welfare is concerned though, a chink in the armour. Love animals, love animals, love animals, love animals, rodeo? American tradition! Fuck em!

You get many ex rodeo horses at your ranch? Do any rodeo animals live that long? Does the fact that the owners of some of the ex racehorses you look after would have been taken down to the glue factory instead because horse racing is ALL about money and fuck all to do with animal welfare.

Here's what goes on in the mind of the average racehorse owner to quote the Wu Tang Clan - “cash moves everything around me, cream, get the money, dollar dollar bill y'all!”

Tsk Tsk, again running your mouth about something you know fuck all about. I rescue retired racehorses to keep them from being killed. I bring them home & give them a place to live until the end of their days. I love them & I feed them and give them room to run. I ask nothing in return and I do it on my dime. Fuck you.

Absolutely providing a safe haven because you know what I say about horseracing and rodeo broncos both being exploited animals that are abandoned when they can't make a profit from them is true when they stop making money right? you stoopid bitch!

You are looking after horses who can't make money which no one who cares about making a profit about gives two shits about! You are a charity I wish I had the time.

Animal welfare unless it goes against american tradition! In which I will conveniently be ignored!

A animal suffering in the name of America is glad it does.

'Member that time years ago when I said I'd like to launch myself through the monitor at you? I'M FEELING IT AGAIN!

OP, I would never knowingly condone anything that resulted in an animal suffering. I don't want to fight with you.

Well horse racing and rodeos do result in animal suffering at times. I don't think it's meant to be a blood sport or anything and I know horses love to run more than anything so I actually think they do like racing, but I don't think the rodeo broncos particularly like to smash their heads into fences and break their legs in a wild frenzy.

I saw a horse stumble and fall at a race track once. Out came this big sheet to hide it from the public and they put that horse down right there. Hauled it away and went on with the races. I lost any interest I had in horse racing that day.

During the national hunt racing season in the UK loads of horses die needlessly every season many horses that are put down trackside could make full recoveries and have a good quality of life but would never be able to race again. So as far as the owner is concerned its a one way trip to the glue factory if the horse isn't making any money for anybody.
Plus the fact there are loads of horses still doped up the the eyeballs, recently in the UK a famous Arab owned stable was discovered to be doping their horses and have been doing for years.
The horse racing business is as crooked as a dogs hind leg.
