A recent study proved categorically that children who are physically assaulted (because that's what spanking is. Period.) Do worse in terms of their education and intellect and nearly always go on to become violent themselves.

Think about it for a minute, when you hit a kid you are giving them the message “if someone does something you don't like hit them”.

We live in a world where some people champion hitting a kid but condemn someone kicking a dog. So the rights of dogs not to be physically abused is more important than a childs.

Cue all the “I got spanked and it didn't do me any harm” anecdotal drivel.

And the study it exists ok? I haven't got time to find it and copy and paste it.

In fact if you hit your kids in this country and I find out about it I'm going intervene and tell the police motherfucker, its part of my job to protect kids from physical abuse.
