So......what is the deal w/ the right side posting that if you support Ukraine you stand w/ neo nazis, child traffickers, rigged elections, money laundering, communism.

Has something shifted? Does this mean they stand with Putin?

No idea in what context "supporting" Ukraine (a country) means  . . . and if you don't, somehow you are supporting Putin (a man).

As to the "right side posting", are you referring to a political leaning or ideology . . . you know . . . the "right" typically being white, gun toting, college illiterate, racist, abortion hating, science denying, MAGA types.

Me, personally . . . I'm completely against the US funding foreign military solutions, in Ukraine, without any attempt or evidence, of diplomatic resolve.

So . . . now you can decide if that makes me a "fellow traveler", in support of all of the aforementioned labels, posted by the "right", and a Putin supporter. 

Oh, yeah . . . one other common label, if you do not support the US military involvement in Ukraine is, "against democracy".

Haha..you know too well that’s too big of an oyster to lump together. The US chose China to bail them out for finance long before they realised Putin would go on a power trip and haul China along.

I’m pretty sure I’ve made my opinions about the US and Chinese debt known on this forum long before Putin got worried about the Ukraine becoming financially self sufficient

"Simple" is the perfect word to describe the mentality you exhibit: conformity = intelligence. Which isn't to say that nonconformity is necessarily positive, but it's an entirely moot point in the absence of critical thinking.

These are the 2 recent memes I saw. I did not include all of the wording in my original post. I was hoping some here had seen these and were familiar with the retoric. Since the meme said if I support Ukraine, I support Biden I must support all those other things as well-that is why I said if this is true, then those that don't support Ukraine must support Putin.

Anyway, my stance is-I stand with both the people of Ukraine and Russia whose lives are affected by this war and who have nothing to do with this war. When I read posts where these memes were posted and people say "Fuck Ukraine" it makes no sense to me. So if I engaged I would be argueing with idiots. So I came here instead.

I hope my above post answers some of your questions. I said "right" instead of "republican" as the person who posted the meme is from Canada. But they generally post stuff that is in line w/ Republican type posting. I have seen other people in th U.S. also post the same sentiment and they usually are not democrat.

When you put it like that, I think we might be able to have a decent hike in the Columbia River Gorge.

My only critique is why frame it within the left/right dichotomy? Dichotomies are human constructs that only exist in our minds. Why empower them at the expense of objectivity?
