'K. I thought I could have a little fun being argumentative but I'm not in the mood after all.

I'm not being argumentative, but I think the handy boombox speaker-builder builder is ingenious.

Ingenuity doesn't require new technology invention.

Identifying a need/want/problem and then devising and executing a clever solution is ingenious -- that's what BoomBox V2 creators did, IMO.

Anyway, I don't even have automatic locks or windows, so this is Jetsons-like, to me. The Intelligent Drive car that Mercedes Benz demonstrated at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show is moving the company one step closer to its goal of autonomous driving. Tell it where you wanna go, and it virtually drives itself -- reportedly in a much safer fashion than with a human driving a standard vehicle.

It's a little too much for me; I like driving. But, it's cool for those who want the latest, safest, and most hassle-free, I think. Most of the technology already exists in other applications, but some might consider the compilation and final product execution to be ingenious.

While autonomous driving is reportedly not far off from the technology perspective, there currently aren't standards in place for regulatory bodies to safety-test features and the like -- that'll probably delay "driveless vehicles" from being a market reality longer than technology and production issues, IMO.

This might not be a "new" product to most of you.

But, it's new to me and I'm finding it very cool!

I finally upgraded my Flintstones phone to a smart phone a couple of months back. Part of the new contract included Mi-Fi, a portable hotspot. I didn't care much about it and figured it was kind of a rip-off, but it's turned out to be very useful. It stays charged for a really long time, very small, and I can get internet access everywhere. Used it all weekend in the motel for work and my niece was on-line on her laptop whenever we hit traffic jams.

I made a stupid video with my youngest sister and my older niece on Sunday -- our version of "ain't nobody got time for that!" rap. So, my niece played me her favorite remix of a real news story while we were sweltering in the middle of nowhere yesterday.

It's from 2010 but I'd never seen it before. Very funny stuff, to me (not the attempted rape of course, just the demeanors of the characters interviewed).

That's Schmoyoho, AKA the Gregory Brothers, that did the remix. They did the auto-tune the news. Very funny people. They cleared it with Dodson and went number one on Itunes Comedy for at least a few weeks. Think proceeds were split.

We watched that video like 5 times in the car and never stopped laughing -- then we couldn't stop singing the song the whole next day. "And hide your husbands, cuz they're raping everybody out here." hah

Okay, I think this new product looks amazingly fun (though I'm sure it's much harder to use than it looks and is probably really expensive).

It's the HoverBoard!, invented by French jet ski champ Frankie Zapata.

The 59-foot hose attaches to a personal watercraft (like a speed boat or JetSki), then propels the Hoverboard into the air by a powerful jet of water. The watercraft then follows the rider “giving freedom to surf amongst the waves,” the Zapata Racing website said.

The HoverBoard will be featured in the 2015 release of Back to the Future II.

This just in: 32 cases of strangulation by hose have put a 'strangle-hold' on the sale of this product.

(not true.)

You guys always blame women when things go awry, even in fictional failure scenarios.

You coulda blamed the bros, but pinned it all on the hose.

Typical!

This is the best investment I've made in years.

$10.

The cassette goes into my car stereo and has a really long cord that plugs into my iPhone. I can hear the caller perfectly over the stereo speakers, so I don't have to pull over to make or take calls anymore.

And, if I'm playing music from the phone through the car stereo speakers, the music stops automatically when I get a call and resumes when I hang up.

I don't know how long this product has been available, but I only learned of it two weeks ago. Love it.

Holy fuck, I think I lost a cassette player in my car at least 2 cars ago. But I had one of those...back in the day.

I'm awaiting the arrival of the Mr. Lid containers I ordered yesterday. Smiley_emoticons_smile. I saw them while I was back East and given how much time we spend matching lids to plastic, they intrigued me. Plus our plastic cupboard is a hot mess. I also ordered the same thing in a bigger size made in Italy. Amazon...1 click. I love it.

Someone told me these hoses are great. I was thinking about ordering one because my son keeps pulling the hose out to wash his stupid car and leaves it all knotted up in a mess. Then I untangle the damn thing and roll it up nice and neat just for him to come back and fuck it all up again.

Those hoses are great. I'd never seen the product before; about time somebody advanced hose functionality.

I cuss like a sailor whenever I try to get my hose from the garage around the flower bed and all the bushes to rinse the front stairs and windows; frustratingly kinky experience every time.

Just ordered two XHose Pros -- the 50 foot ones (my oldest nephew is getting the second one for Christmas).

Yeah, the hose in my back yard drives me nuts too. It's so heavy when I drag it around the corner it takes out my plants and knocks the solar lights out of the ground. If this hose does what it claims then it really is a great invention.

That sure will come in handy when I'm out hiking or running from the geese. I'll use it to bash their little heads in. Thanks for thinking of me. You're too kind.

I can walk you crotchety old sea-hag. And if you joined the Navy you wouldn't have a problem rolling up your stupid hose.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
