That's actually a good picture for someone coming from surgery. You look better now during back surgery then in the last picture on your bike lol. It looks like you lost weight.

LOL, that was actually right before going in and no I haven't lost any weight. That starts as soon as I am released to go back to the gym.
Yesterday was a pretty good day, i got up no pain, very little stiffness and my leg works a little better. My son is here with me getting me on the road to recovery, he is a Dr of PT, so he knows what he is doing.
So looks like I'll be ok soon. New target end of the year weight down to 230

Hope all is well Six. Just remember the mantra "drugs, drugs, give me more drugs", I am not saying turn into Michael Jackson and illegally obtain propofol, but don't ever let the pain get on top of you, you have to catch it before it consumes you.

Even if you have no pain, don't take it for granted always have a stash ready just in case.

I hope your post-op recovery is coming along well Six.

How's your back feeling?

My friend told me yesterday that he's looking at back surgery at the end of the year. He's a baby even when he feels good; I don't envy his wife when he's down for the count.

Progressing slowly. Didn't have much pain to begin with, part of my lg is just numb. The Surgery seems to have done what it was supposed to, I got some balance and control back already but it will take a while to get the strength back, doc says it will come.
The amazing thing to me has been how little pain I have had even from the surgery, I was up and about immediately.

Your third leg? That's just old age and to be expected.

Sounds like you're doing pretty well Six. Good to hear.

My friend is about the same height, age and weight as you, I think.

About a year after I met him, his divorce had just been finalized, he was drinking a mini bottle of Jack a day, and he was lying on the floor all night in pain with a bad back. He got hooked on Oxycodone, lost his job, and went into complete hibernation. I had to promise to suck his cock if he came to the door after 2 weeks of him not answering anybody's phone calls or the door. The bastard answered the door immediately when I made that promise.

The chiropractor has kept him moving for like 20 years, but he needs to get a permanent fix and is aiming to have the surgery before Thanksgiving, and then be back to work before New Year's Eve (he's a bartender; stands all night). I'm glad he's happily married now, I'm not as generous as I used to be.

Anyway, your rebound is encouraging. I hope my friend rebounds as quickly.

Be careful six overdoing it is easy to do. I tried my exercise bike this last weekend and ripped 2 staples out. Hopefully you take your time. I know you're not the kind that likes to sit around recuperating but in the long run it will be worth it. Good luck and I hope the surgery did what it should have and you feel 100% better later.

You know, that is THE worst thing about this: Not being able to do anything.
This w/e I paid one of my guys to load a bunch of boxes from one storage unit I got rid of to the bigger one I am setting up as a shop. Kills me to not just grab a box and go.
But, I am following the Doc to at least 3 decimal places on this.
Being careful ald following the plan

My grass is getting high and my pool is almost ready but a couple concrete blocks fell in that held the cover on and I cannot for the life of me pull them up. I'm calling the shop in a few min to get a few guys over here and feed them with beer to do a few things for me. That is after the nurse leaves after checking the staples.
Not doing anything is killing me and these blueprints aren't enough. Good luck not doing anything, it truly sucks.
