That's wonderful. Seriously. I have nothing bad to say about Sam. I like him and I think he's capable. I'm very glad he had a good game.

Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch I just got a notification from the Eagles saying they traded Sam to the Vikings.

I look forward to reading your opinion, MS.

All my buddies and I agree.

We like this move.

The options to replace Bridgewater were:

1. Stand pat and do nothing and enter the season with Shaun Hill and an injured undrafted rookie in Joel Stave (U of WI) as the team's QB's. That would've been horrible.

2. Wait until the league's final cutdown day and see if a QB got released. Would've been someone not much better than Hill or Stave.

3. Go make a bold move and take a win-now approach to this season.

Many outside of MN will say the Vikes overpaid for Bradford, and that he's injury prone. The injury history scares me.

However, this is what excites me:

Bradford threw for 3700 yards in 14 games last year for Philly.

This is also the most complete team he will have played for.

To me, the only way this deal really sucks is if he gets injured and is lost for the year.

BTW: he's also signed for 2 years at $10M per, which is a decent number. With the severity of Teddy's injury, we'll probably need Bradford at least 2 years.

Bottom line: I'm now excited about this season again.

I have to admit:

Sam Bradford played like a battle-tested veteran.

Composed, smart and TOUGH.

He got hit. A lot.

Bounced up every time.

I love beating the Pack!
It's good to see the purple people eater defense back. Congrats MS.

Thanks for the nice sentiments BG and Duchess.

Now the reality of Week 3.

On the road at Carolina. They're fresh off hanging 46 on a Niners club that pitched a shutout the week before.

Adrian will most likely be out. The offensive line couldn't block me, BG, Cars and BigMark.

Good luck Eagles tonight. Take out Da Bears.

We should handle the Bears. They're garbage this year. Ka'Deem Carey was a beast in college, but he hasn't done much in the pros.

How are those Patriots doing? Wasnme You just can't keep a good team down, especially with the best coach in the league. With a 3rd string QB even. These other teams better get their game on soon.

This shit is so old.

I now firmly believe that if I were the Pats QB we'd finish no worse than 8-8.

You have to admit they are doing better than anyone gave them credit for. Its the coaching I believe and the spirit. I thought it was talent but its something else. They are the team to beat that's for sure. There are plenty of other good games out there but when the Pats play they sell out the venue every time. They're like the Rolling Stones of football.

Game Day! Go Eagles! We play the Steelers today at the Linc. This might be the first good team that we play.

I'm a Redskins fan today. Go 'Skins!

I think you're right.

Cleveland and Chicago may be the 2 worst teams in the league.

I think you guys will do fine today.

I've been watching DeSean play today and thinking how exciting it used to be to watch Vick throw those field long bombs and seeing DeSean do a catch and run. It was so much fun. *sigh* Now I'm thinking about Shady too and Chip Kelly. I supported every decision that sumbitch made, even while he blew up my team, I thought he knew better than me. I was a such a sucker.

My club is slowly grinding one out against a very dynamic Carolina team.

Somehow were hanging in there when we seem completely outmanned.

Zimmer is some sort of Belichick in the making.
*knocks on wood*

The in-game adjustments he makes always seem to work.

Vikes dominated the last 40 minutes today in Charlotte.

All I can say is 'wow'.

Eagles 27-3.

Steelers look like chumps.

Eagles' o-line is dominating. Their defense is a lot better than anyone outside of Philly expected.

The cream of the NFC: Philly & Minny?

Broncos 3-0 And I kinda like this Simeon kid. Never would have figured them to be this solid after being cherry picked and losing ol' noodle arm AND Osweiler, but I'll take it. Meanwhile, Brock is making Elway look like a genius...
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
