NFL 2016
I'm here to officially eat crow. Maybe BG sees a lot more than I do. I thought the birds had no chance in this one, and they dismantled the Pitts Pack. Wholeheartedly roasted that team. It's still early, and they still have a tough stretch in the middle, but we lead the division for at least a couple weeks.

Also, Zimmer is a fuckin pimp. My wife is a Ben-gal, and she gave up on the team when they let Invader Zims walk to Minny while they kept Marvin "playoffs interfere with my golf time" Lewis.

And our defense and running back corps is looking pretty tough.

Wentz was named NFC offensive player of the week and Cox was NFC defensive player of the week.

Awesome to read! Well deserved.

It's been grand to have something to be excited about. I'm so proud of my team.

We're doing a hell of a lot better than anyone expected we would. Wentz is bound to find a slump at some point, but for now, ride the wave baby!

I was actually pretty excited to see what he could do, but I didn't think he'd start until next year.

I never expected this level of competence, not right now anyway.

Hey MS, I'm a Vikings fan today. Go Vikings! Go 'Niners!

...and hopefully the Browns will get their first win today.

I don't like to make predictions about the home team because I feel like I'll end up jinxing them, however, I'm gonna do it tonight.

Eli has vomit-inducing career stats against my Vikes: 5 TD's/14 INT's

A year ago, here in late December (in a game that didn't matter for NY and without Odell) Big Blue got stomped 49-17.

IMO, Coach Zimmer will not allow his players to read their press clippings and will keep them hungry.

I see our pass rush getting to Eli often and I really feel like the offense is going to flourish tonight.

Vikes 34-16.

MS, I just read this on the ESPN site -

It's only quarter pole, but Vikings' GM Rick Spielman and Eagles' GM Howie Roseman's late-night call has translated to combined 7-0 record.

It's really something to see how this has turned out.

I just listened to a couple of commentators on ESPN say that Sam is actually a better passer than Bridgewater, but Teddy may be a better athlete.

I think I'd agree with that. Bradford has made a few throws this season that Teddy hasn't made before.

There were a handful of football experts that knew Minny's defense was going to be elite (Top 5) this year. In fact our D played this exact same way the final 3 games plus playoff game from last year.

When Teddy went down, our GM knew we had to do something, because the defense is in place NOW.

Philly gets what they wanted: draft picks for a lame duck QB and the Vikings get the guy they feel can take them all the way.

October 23 isn't too far away.

Did I hear correctly that last night's game was OBJ's lowest yardage output of his career?

Here's how you know you're getting accustomed to your team winning:

I thought the Vikes looked pretty average last night, but still won by 2 TD's.

Other than a busted screen play that goes for 70 yards, Eli throws for under 200 yards.

Suddenly (other than our games @ PHIL and @ GB) the schedule looks pretty manageable the rest of the way.

Man, I really hate getting ahead of myself.

These are the Vikings after all.

Probably the best team in league history to have never won it all.

We find a way to lose at the biggest moment.
