ELECTION 2020
Even with all his issues Trump is still the sanest one in the group. Has anyone even listened to what the others are promising? None of that crap would ever materialize, Trump has been working on what he promised since he became president. many may not like it but it's true. I'm positive there will be tons of feedback about that statement like "what about the deficit" But I have no doubt that he will address that more in the next 4 years. Face it, he is the only viable candidate. and he is doing it with all the idiocy tossed at him by the bureaucracy.

A Democrat would have folded by now but their hatred has only made him stronger. he is a counter puncher. Good for him.

Me too. I'll vote for Biden, though I would have preferred to vote for Bernie Sanders.

I have a relevant song for this election. This is the guy that sang "Hello Mother, Hello Father" in the early 60's

These results are abysmal for the Dems; Christ, mini mike spent 1 Billion dollars all by himself. This is one of those intangibles called voter enthusiasm; face it, the Dems are split bad. How many will stay home in November because their candidate lost? How many Bernie’s Bolsheviks will riot instead of voting?

Despite the efforts of the LSM, this is still a center right country who will vote their wallet. The Dems message does not resonate with the vast majority; they better start listening to Carville.

I've been seeing rumors on Facebook that Biden is going to ask the Butt guy to be his VP.   I sincerely hope Butt guy does not align himself with Creepy Joe.

And what the Fuck Bloomer?  You were in the race for what, all of 2 days? You spent billions.  Fuck, you probably could have fixed the water system in Flint for the amount of money you spent making me listen to ads that said "Mike did it!"

Elizabeth Warren is out. I didn't like everything she was about but I admired her drive nonetheless.

I'm surprised she wasn't told to stay in to suck the votes from Bernie.

Quite a few of us deplorable's are have a great time watching all this go down, every day someone has a Biden gaff or a Bernie meltdown. It's great entertainment.

And then there were two..........

I feel bad for Elizabeth Warren's disappointment.  She really fought hard.  She's wielding a considerable amount of political leverage right now though and hopefully she'll be able to use it to advance some of her agenda with another candidate or in the next administration.

In any case,  it's good to see the Democratic primaries turning out so many voters; record-breaking in some states.

Unfortunately for Bernie, the youth vote isn't showing up in high numbers (though he's doing better than projected with Latinos).

Fortunately for Biden, older voters and suburbanites and black voters are showing up in droves.

The incumbent President always has an advantage in terms of lead time, fund-raising, and get-the-vote-out messaging.  It looks like the RNC and Trump's campaign are doing a very good job of getting voters to the polls even though he's virtually uncontested and doesn't have to fight for delegates.
Reply
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Bernie / Biden debate on March 15th.  Both have pledged to completely support whomever wins the delegate race, but they have fundamentally different outlooks and plans.

Bernie will hit Biden on some of his old voting records (and vice versa), along with Biden's relationships with big corporate donors.  That's fair game.

But, I'll be very surprised if Bernie tries to exploit the Biden Burisma bullshit being pushed by Trump.  I think he'll just roll his eyes at it like he did in regards to the  Hillary Clinton email crap in 2016.
