And I do agree - the untamed world is a money andsupply suckingvampire.

Let's try and stay within the realm of reality, Moose. Anything to do with the government is ALWAYS for profit. That's all they care about. You'll never convince me otherwise, so don't even try to go there. Profit and control to inflict our way of life on any and everyone else, whether they want it or not.

We may live in the greatest nation in the world, but the rest of the world doesn't necessarily want to live as we do.
So it does have a brain...

Is that some weird statement to wake up a sleeper cell or something? ::blink::
::dlaugh:: There have been rumors of prohibited sales of extra long clips for semi-automatic weapons, the lines have been long at the gun stores around here. They will have to sell them elsewhere, thus the explanation of my post. I had thought that you may have seen this and read in between the lions.47

Where'd these rumours come from?

I have 4 30-round clips for the AK-47 and nobody better think of trying to come take them away. ::gunner::

I will look for the proposed ban in the recent upcoming gun legislation bill. I saw a printed copy a few days ago with the long clip ban highlighted. I would have to do an internet search.

I can do a search, Maggot, I just thought you might have it handy. Do you know if the ban would mean surrenduring the clips you already own?

As if I would do eventhat.....

It would be on the clips currently for sale thus the rush to buy them. They would not try to take away the ones people own now.

I had no idea what you were talking about because you used the wrong word. You meant a "detachable magazine". A magazine is what goes into a semi-automatic sidearm or into an assault stylelong rifle or carbine. A stripper clip (often just called clip for short) it a tiny little punched piece of metal that typically holds 3, 4, or 5 rounds and you snap the clip into the rifle and the rifle ejects it. This is the case with the M1 Garand and many rifles of that style during World War Two. Here is a stripper clip:

Magazine, as I said previously. And yes - buy as many high capacity magazines as you can, even for weapons you don't own but plan to own someday. Also buy assault rifles now before the next feature ban like 1994.
