US Health Insurance
#21
Many people are going to India to get major operations done at half the cost and that includes air fare and rehab and lodging. it would be good for those without insurance. An operation costing 50-60 thousand here can be done in the 15-20 thousand dollar range with better doctors that care and are not affiliated with pharmaceutical firms.........get your visa out.

Going to a disease ridden shithole like India to get an operation shows just how much of a rip off health care in the US really is.

Pay more, get less. All the health care professionals and pharmaceutical companies in the US are laughing in your deluded faces seppos.

Michael Moore?!!! ::lmao::::nuts::

So tell me Chickie..... you take fact from an obese glutton who's sole purpose is to promote communism and fill his pocketswith money from the most gullible like you?

If he hates America as much as he says in the lies he calls movies, why does he continue to live here? Yep, I see him. He lives in Manhatten. Upper west side in a very fancy expensive apartment. Sends his kids to PUBLIC schools there too. You can see him slobbering over any hot dog cart on any corner in the city. All you gotta do is follow the stink that he leaves in his wake.

Renting any movie made by that gluttonous blob ofdelusion would only put MY money in his pocket and I am not sostupid as to do that ..... apparently you are.33

I will try to find the article. The thing is is that the after-care was better for a cheaper price. And it may eventually become tied in with insurance companies. India has some of the best doctors in the world. The procedures in America and yes even in your fly-shit island country are more expensive because of bureaucracy ...kinda sucks in a fucked up way.

Health care IS NOT better in the US. Canada has the same, if not better quality doctors, and specialists. Guess what? Its FREE! Everyone contributes through their taxes.

You cant be denied health care in the US... Unless you cant afford to pay your salary if something terrible happened. And if something really bad happened, then your health insurance would probably turn you down, according to SiCKO.
And, the British system looks a tad better than Canada's and ours is better than the US.
Dumbfuck.

So then why are you coming here? Stay there in Canada, freeze your ass off while standing in line for a doctor all day long. Hoping and praying you get to see the same one twice.

Funny how it's been all over the news how Canada's system is failing and how people have to wait years for specialists and special tests and pray they can get to the top of the line for major operations in time before they die.

Again, to reiterate for the morons, you can't be denied health care in the US if you need it. YOU do not need to have a salary, (whatever the fuck you are talking about there in the last paragraph of your stupidity) and if you get GOOD insurance and not cheap out on premium costs, you get all the coverage you need. If you're too stupid to understand the contract that's your tough shit.

You do not have to pay for anything you can't afford if you get treated. The US government actually will pick up the tab if necessary. Just ask all the illegals here on welfare. They certainly know how to milk our system to the fullest.

Do us all a favor and stay in Canada. We don't need anymore brain dead ass wipes here. We have enough already. If you believe what that fat pig says in his movies then just go to Cuba for your health care. If the USA is so poor in your opinion why come here? Why use our doctors? Why even did you post this?

Fuck you kitten.

Healthcare in the UK is far superior and cheaper than healthcare in the US, you know it, I know it even that fat self satisified fuck Michael Moore knows it.

Live with it and move on antboy.

Next time you get one of your hamsters stuck up your ass in one of your filching sessions, let me know how long you have to wait in a filthy hospital before the doctor stops laughing long enough to take it out.

You get what you pay for in this life.
How much high quality product do you get for free? Not much.

Thats not entirely true. A friend of mine just had a double mastectomy and had to wait six months for the patient assistance process before a doctor would even touch her. She didn't have health insurance, but made too much money to qualify for welfare. By the time she got patient assistance, the cancer could have spread. And she still has to pay a portion of the hospital bill back.

Sure you can go to the ER and they have to stabilize you, but then they tell you to go see a specialist who won't even talk to you unless you have insurance or money. And getting any assistance here (unless you're a complete bum)is a lot longer wait than in Canada and the UKso I've been told. And that's if they even qualify you for assistance at all.

Its pretty freaky.
Yes, it is. Would you say that it's accurate as far as Canadian health care goes?

It's funny, conservative Americans go all apeshit over the idea of socialized medicine, screeching about how horrible it is to get healthcare in Canada or the UK, but all of the people I've spoke to who actually live in countries with socialized medicine, seem to think it's fine and wouldn't trade it for our system for anything (smart folks).

I hate to disagree with you, Ant... but yes you CAN be refused healthcare. It happens all the time, just depends on the healthcare you're talking about.

You can't be denied EMERGENCY treatment, anyone can go into an ER and get emergency care regardless of whether or not they have health insurance or the ability to pay... however you WILL be billed ridiculously extravagant amounts for the visit and any stuff that is done to you while you are there. Unpaid bills do go on your credit history (though most creditors don't give a flying about them), and the medical system will turn your bills over to debt collectors, who will hound you relentlessly for years over the bills.

Personal examples of ER overcharging:

Years ago, I had to go into ER because I had a severe sore throat, swollen to the point of barely being able to swallow and bringing tears to my eyes. They did a swab and prescribed a powerful antibiotic for me to take, and brought two pills in a cup for me to take 'right then'.

I was charged $200 for the visit and $50 PER PILL for the antibiotic (which I was too poor to fill at the time because it was very expensive).

This last winter, I went into ER with a bad lung infection. It was something that had already been passed around my family, and I already knew that it was bacterial and responded to an antibiotic. The ER doctor told me he thought it was viral and wanted to give me a steroidal shot instead (which would have only reduced the inflammation for a couple of hours, then caused the issue to be even worse from rebound, without actually helping me at all). I finally convinced him to give me a prescription for z-pack (which, by the way, caused me to show a marked improvement the next day).

I was charged $350 for a 15-minute ER visit and a prescription I had to fight like hell for.

Truly stupid stuff.
