It's hot. So fuckin' hot. And humid. I'm sweltering in the tropics. I don't want to wish my life away but this shit is ridiculous and I'm over Summer.

...aaaaaand the friggin' European hornets are back. *shudders* One buzzed me on the patio and I saw one in the laundry room up in the barn. Horrible creatures.

Yes, they do but they don't travel in flocks like other birds do. They are loners.

Suckin' up the bee balm nectar. Sweet little creatures. I would love to one day be so fortunate to come across their nest. I've seen pix of course but I want to actually see it for myself. I have ruby throat ones here.
