You're not being sarcastic? I'd love to see her give it another shot next year. By the time 2016 rolls around she'll be about 68.

I still think she's a bitch but would take her over Barry or any of the Repubs running now. I think the food stamp prez will fuck something up that his handlers cannot cope with and the pubs only have Romney and he's has blue balls. Hillary is the only choice left if she runs.

I agree. But I am not sure if I would have been comfortable with James B. Stockdale being President if Ross Perot had been elected and died before completing his term.

After she and Bill stole the shit from the white house, I'm pretty much thinking she has no business in any elected office in this country.

Besides her position on gun control is a vote killer for me.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

I do not believe one single thing this shyster says. I have come to learn that when Obama says everything is alright that is code for "Look out...the shit is hitting the fan" Check out the comments. As the economy gets worse his ambitions of being King will get flushed. I truly cannot stand the sight of this arrogant, selfish bitch.
Even the leftist liberal dumbasses are finally realising what everyone has been saying all along. Se ya Odumbo.........

Christ almighty. I'm glad this old thread resurfaced. Since when do we judge our presidential candidates on their "niceness"? Or is that just reserved for female presidential candidates? Smiley_emoticons_fies

It remains to be seen whether the stall in hiring is a blip or a sign of a worsening economy. Maybe we should continue with the Bush economic policies because we were doing SO WELL right before Obama was elected *cough* heading in to a great depression *cough*.

You might have been a retarded voter if your only defense of Obama is an attack on Bush. Just sayin'.

"Things look very bad in America these days. Of course President Obama will tell us that it is all Bush’s fault. President Obama now knows that everything thing he’s tried; his stimulus plan, his hire-more-government-workers jobs programs, his promoting of jobs-killing unions, his animosity toward private enterprise have all failed so what is a President to do? Easy, blame President Bush. We’ll keep hearing phrases from the Obama mania media about “turning the corner” and “moving in the right direction” as Obama begs for another term so that he can continue his “fundamental transformation” of the United States.

When the people look at our economy there are two things that stand out right now. One is the lack of jobs, the other is housing prices. How are we doing on the jobs front? In January, February and March we added about 200,000 private sector jobs every month. That fell to 180,000 in April. In May it looks like the numbers may be around 40,000. How is that for “turning the corner?” That’s considered “moving in the right direction?” For people looking for work, I don’t think so. It takes about 150,000 new private sector jobs every month just to keep up with population growth.

What about Housing prices? In Ridgewood home values now are around their 2002 value. Many Americans, perhaps most Americans, have the bulk of their wealth tied up in their home equity, and now that equity has turned to vapor for many.

Add to that that many pre-retirement workers are seeing their retirements disappear!

What is really disturbing is that President Obama has no plan to bring our private sector economy back. He has grand plans to expand the size of government and to improve the economic lives of those who work for government however. What is the one place in this country where home prices are holding their own? That would be around Washington DC. The one economically secure area of our country – the seat of the Federal Government of the United States.

Many experts are concerned that we’re heading back into another recession. Inflation is up. In fact, if we measured inflation with the same metrics that were in use when Jimmy Carter was in office the inflation rate would be around 10%. Clearly reelecting Obama in 2012 could be the worst thing to happen to America since the Pearl Harbor attack."

This view makes sense to me. When all the bullshit and rhetoric has been spouted, the truth remains. The housing and private job markets are fucked. Growing the government in order to compensate is about the stupidest fucking idea anyone could conceive.

It proves two things to me that I have often observed in the South: 1.) Black people don't understand that taxpayers are the ones paying for the government to operate. If the taxpayers don't have jobs, the government builds debt. 2.) Debt has to be repaid. Black people don't get that, either.

I kinda think when Clinton left office we actually had a budget surplus or close (granted, there are differences on the exact numbers but still...). If you want to blame economic problems on a particular President, we have to look back historically. Blaming Obama for our current situation seems myopic. To me.

But blaming Bush is fine? I don't get that part of your logic...

You have to put every presidency into perspective. What happened in the world during that presidency and in the years before? Who had the House and the Senate? If you want to be all technical, blame Clinton for NAFTA and call it a day...

Giving Obama a pass and blaming Bush isn't going to work for you much longer. People are starting to see it IS Obama.

When you decide to be Captain of the Ship of State, you get the praises and the criticism.

If you run the ship aground and blame the conditions . . . then you are a stupid fuck who took a big chance, risked property and crew and came up short.

Your call . . . you had the weather report, you chose to put to sea and you piloted the ship.

Can't blame the weather, Skipper.

Remember . . . you volunteered . . . you weren't drafted.

When Bush took the reigns from Clinton, the stock market had been tanking for over two months.

Remember the Dot Com bubble?

Bummer for Bush, but he was now in charge. Did he cause the "bubble"? No. But the problem and the solution (or lack thereof) was now HIS.

He was now piloting the ship. NOT Clinton. If he now hits an iceberg and doesn't navigate through treacherous waters, NOT Clinton's fault. Bush was in the driver's seat.

And Clinton didn't "take care" of Bin Laden? Too bad, Bush. You're in charge. No longer Clinton's responsibility. You're calling the ball.

Same with Obama.

If he didn't know how fucked-up things were when he was running for office, then he is an arrogant, self righteous, delusional man. And his promises were "vapor".

If you're gonna lead . . lead. If you're gonna blame . . . then it's obvious you failed and won't take responsibility for your own policies and procedures.

Whatever challenges Bush faced going in are rightfully blamed on his predecessors. I don't think that any President can immediately turn the Titanic. Same with Obama. Yes, they ought to know what they're facing going in to it but that doesn't mean they can *snaps fingers* turn things around.
