THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

Pssst. Many choose to leave their good manners at the door here, myself included. No one is required to show couth or decorum in Mock, one is allowed to say whatever they choose at any given moment in time. This is not a hearts & flowers forum where members are expected to treat others with respect. All opinions are welcome & I highly encourage heated debate.

The best way to win an argument with any liberal is to inject logic into the conversation. Then they just sit there slack jawed staring at you like you had some kind of communicable disease. It's rather funny in a paternal way, kinda like taking the keys to the car away and tossing them in the river.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

I saw the Anne Frank House and a Van Gogh exhibit and the windmills and tulip farms and Viking museum and architectual tour. I also visited the sub shops (still not sure wtf they are, hahaha) and live sex show and the coffeeshops, and my personal favorite, SPICE CAKE SHOPS!

You don't have social problems in Oz? Are you ALL Olivia Newton John?

(Anne Frank house was boring and tiny, btw. Not worth the airfare without the pot. hahahahaha)

Thanks for clearing that up Duchess! Apparently, we have another one here that never read the rules.

Now I have to go smoke another fatty and get myself calmed down...::needdrugs:: 104

That would be a matter of opinion. I bet more people visit Amsterdam for the weed and prostitution than any other reason.

I have a very successful life, both personally & professionally & I smoke weed most days. My brain function is just peachy, thankyouverymuch.

says you! (just kidding). Look the research is in and it is definately linked to psychosis and other mental health problems such as psychophrenia. When these patients sneek it into the ward and smoke it in their smokers courtyard they are counter acting the progress we are trying to make in making them functional members of society.

Regarding Liberal - conservative. Look at the Christine lady who when they found old footage of her talking about "satanic altars" and "witchcraft" the christians abandoned her in droves.

I think the people you are dealing with probably already have issues to begin with. I can assure you I will never find myself jonesin' for a buzz in a hospital courtyard.

I know Duchess that is an extreme example. My point is, its a drug. Should be approached with full knowledge of longterm effects that it can have on your body.

Look I would love to smoke it sometimes, or even smoke ciggarettes, but I know the reality and the danger, I have family responsiblities I just can't do it - its not an option. I would hate to see people not reach their full potential because of it.

Have you ever smoked pot?

I should have elaborated when I asked that. I asked because you mentioned having responsibilities & I got the feeling you were implying that being a "social" smoker would interfere with that.

yes I have smoked pot and had alot of fun in my youth doing. I would always have a "fleetwood mac" experience, where I would see someone that looked like stevie nicks or christie mcvie, it was weird and extremely funny. I stopped smoking ciggs when I became pregnant, but before then i couldnt because I loved a fag. I am not a super straight person that is judging people I am coming from a health perspective.
also if i got busted for smoking pot, i would be deregistered from my profession, not negotiable, and disgraced.

oh dear, someone is in desperate need of therapy. You would have to look at the details of the pathology to come up with that conclusion. You would have to also understand what you are talking about and understand it on a scientific level. Of course, prescription drugs are abused. I think with oxycontin the addiction rate is something like 80 something percent.

I am not going to make fun of your wife dying because that is definately devastating. I wont also respond to the other remark because I am sensing some hurt there from what happened to you.
