Amy Sue Henslee-young MI mom missing
#41
If they conducted an autopsy on Amy they will know if she was intimate w/Beebe as he said he was having sex w/her & Howarth found them. Plus, I'd say the way that the investigators found Amy's body buried will be very telling. I highly doubt this fine specimen of being, Beebe, would have taken the time to pull Amy's pants up before he buried her.

his semen could be found on her if she was raped. but there would be evidence of forcible intercourse.
it will come out at trial.

I have to say, I'm on the fence about this case. Anxiously waiting to see what kind of evidence comes out at trial. When Amy left the house, she stopped to take time to cage the dog, but did not take her purse. A couple theories IMO, If Junior came and said..come quick, something has happened to husband, Howarth, then I can see her just grabbing her coat, leaving her purse, and running out, but that doesn't explain why she took the time to cage the dog. I wouldn't stop to cage a dog in an empty house if something had happened to husband or friend and you have somebody saying, c'mon c'mon. BUT, if she was having an affair with him, he came to pick her up, she caged the dog before she left, but wouldn't take her purse cuz of course, she wouldn't need it. Then Howarth catches them, etc. etc. OR, Howarth and Junior get into fight, Howarth says something about Amy like perhaps "she thinks I should leave you" or "I told her things you have done" etc....Junior kills Howarth, then goes to get Amy because he's enraged at her involvement, or in something she might know, brings her back to trailer on pretense that something has happened to somebody and then kills her. OR, he gets Amy on pretense that something happened to someone, takes her to trailer, is in the process of raping her when Howarth enters, and he has to kill both to cover his ass.

IDK, I just don't see any more scenarios, and it really makes NO sense why he would go pick her up to take her out there along with his girlfriend and kill them both...for what reason?? We already know Juniors story and I'm wondering how the prosecution is going to dispute it. It's the stopping to cage the dog that has me hung up...WOULD someone do that if there was a life or death emergency that she was needed at (That is the only thing I can think of that would have her leaving her purse) It's obvious to me that she went willingly as the dog was caged...you don't kidnap someone forcibly and let them stop to cage a dog.

While I know Junior is probably full of shit...his story isn't all that implausible. I've lived long enough where nothing surprises me when you're talking about the "double" lives that people can lead...lives that their best friends, family, and husband know nothing about. I am not disparaging her or Tonya, I'm just trying to figure out the scenario that makes the most sense..

what does everyone else think??

What does everyone else think.

nothing shocks me anymore either, and my mind is open to whether she was involved with him.

Just a couple things: I sometimes leave my purse if I'm stepping out for a short while, say, to get my daughter from school & know I don't have to stop anywhere to buy anything so her not taking her purse doesn't seem to odd to me. I could see her caging the dog but not grabbing her purse on the way out the door if he came buy & said something like I need your help with (whatever) it won't take too long, I'll bring you right back....etc.......

The affair I don't really buy. If her husband called or came home everyday around the same time, why leave to go have an affair? Why go shag in a nasty trailer? Why not just cheat right there in the comforts of your nice home? She knew when her husband would be calling or stopping in. If she were worried about the neighbors talking about Juniors truck being there, well wouldn't they have something to say about her leaving with him (which they did) so what difference would it make? I don't buy it.

I take my handbag anytime I leave home. I could live out of that bitchin' thing if I had to, it's so big, the weight of it alone gives it weapon status.

I don't ever carry a purse. I have a man's wallet. It is much easier than trying to remember a damn purse!

Interested in how this whole situation went down.
It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

I've been trying to find out further details, and there's not a whole lot else out right now. There are a lot of people doubting Junior's story about the alleged affair he was having with Amy, but I saw one photo of Amy and Junior, with Amy's arms draped around him, and she looked like she was definitely more than just friends. I don't say this lightly. I've 'outed' more than one woman in my day who was having an affair with somebody. I've got to say, I can completely buy Junior's theory.

"I'll pick you up for a quickie, and get you back home by the time your husband calls." For all we know, the husband's daily 'phone check' was a result of his suspicions of her activities. The DA and the ME, if they find junior's DNA AND no evidence of rape, are going to have a difficult time delivering that news to Amy's family. Hope I'm wrong, truly I do, but I don't think so.

I don't know, LC. After perusing the photo again, I noticed his left arm drooped awfully close to her ass. She's got a big grin, and, to me, it looks like more than just a drunken photo op. This is just my opinion. However, I'd like to know one thing, something that I think could help us establish if his story is truthful or not.

Were Amy and Ms. Howarth friends?? Did they know each other? If so, I could understand her running to Junior's trailer. Maybe he used the, "Tonya needs help, you're her friend", etc. when he picked her up that morning.

If they weren't friendly, or were simply mere acquaintences, it would lend some credibility to his story. Then, they could've been intimate back at his trailer, by the way, the WAY back trailer, where someone would do sneaky deeds, when she discovered the two of them.

And, I'm still holding to my belief that Amy's husband had his suspicions about the two of them already. Again, just my opinion.

Just because her husband called her on his break doesn't mean he was suspicious of anything. I call my husband on my break every day, and he does the same on his. When two people are in love, and the way he talks, I'm sure they were, they treasure each and every moment. Also, in those pics with Amy and Jr., there was alcohol also. Most people tend to relax more when drinking; I doubt she would go for Jr. over her husband. Hmm, let's see: Hubby has job, good looking, attentive. Jr., on the other hand is sloppy, lazy, fugly lol. And if you look at the pic again, she is leaning as far away as possible from him. And she has a look on her face like, "Wow, hunny, can you help me out here? These pits stink!" JMO

trial is on.

PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) - Amy Henslee had bruises to her neck and chin that occurred around the time of her death from a shotgun blast, consistent with her being assaulted with a blunt object before she was shot to death, Dr. Stephen Cohle testified Thursday in the trial of Junior Beebe Jr.

Beebe is accused of killing Henslee, 30, and Tonya Howarth in January, then burying them behind a trailer on Bangor Township property owned by Beebe's family.

Cohle, the Kent County medical examiner who helps other counties at times, also said Henslee's body had "blunt injury, in the form of scrapes and bruises." There were also significant injuries observed on and around one of Henslee's arms.

Prosecutors also displayed a mock-up of the trailer where Henslee and Howarth were shot to death.

The courtroom trailer mock-up will poke holes in Beebe's defense, prosecutors say, as well as the expected testimony of the medical examiner.
-----
In the first day of testimony, Henslee's husband, James, talked about the day his wife went missing. Two police officers and Henslee's neighbor also took the stand, as did Beebe's mother, Karen.

She testified she dropped Howarth off at the property where she was killed, and that she had contact with her son after the shootings but before the bodies were found two days later.

They also say a motion was filed by Van Buren County Prosecutor Juris Kaps that any evidence of Henslee's extra-marital affairs be barred from trial. The judge has granted the motion as long as the prosecutors and witnesses don't try to deny that Henslee was having an affair with Beebe.

The prosecutor wants evidence of extra-marital affairs barred from trial. So she was having more than one? If it's a foregone conclusion to the jury that Amy and Beebe Jr. were involved in an affair, he may get off.

and everyone thought she was miss perfect. but nomatter if she was a druggie slut, he's not allowed to murder anyone. if anyone even believes his other ho shot her. he won't get off. but i don't know if he'll be convicted on top count. i bet this was a shock to the husband. or was it?

they can try to bar her affairs so as not to 'blame the victim', but i think they'll come in. all it takes is for the right door to be opened in testimony. what a sordid soap opera. Lifetime movie material.
