Cotton:One of Lisa's friends said that Lisa had sent her a Facebook message that night saying that she wanted to see her.

This strikes me as very odd.

I grew up in this neighborhood and my parents still live there. Right around the corner from this house, actually. One thing that has stuck out in my mind is something I heard on the news the morning of the discovery and have been trying to find it somewhere in print. One of Lisa's friends said that Lisa had sent her a Facebook message that night saying that she wanted to see her.

This strikes me as very odd. It is almost as if she knew something was going to happen. Possibly someone threatened her? I tried to find the article on the Toledo Blade website but was only able to find a cached version, as it appears the original story has been removed.

I'm not really sure why that seems odd? If it was a friend, maybe she just wanted to get together? I also think if Lisa knew something, there would be more people coming out saying she had contacted them and was nervous or scared.

Doesn't she get paid for each of these appearances?

I wouldn't call that my version. I said I surmised that as a possibility based on what was known at that time. Like the rest of us here, I reserve the opportunity to revise my impressions or guesses as additional evidence is learned.

Even Maytee's TV statements include new information to be considered, along with the more bizarre remarks.

I actually think they do pay for appearances. I'm looking into it because now I'm curious!

I don't think the bags and tape were their only "weapons". I think they probably carried guns too. They didn't have to use them and therefore didn't have to worry about shell casings being traced back to them.

shell casings are easily picked up, and don't leave prints like plastic and tape.

Glad I can help you. I am picturing you as a huge fat ass with a milk jug sitting under your computer desk that you piss in because you do not want to step away from your computer. Oops

I to have wondered about this, the girl said the message was sent at 130am if I remember correctly. Am I wrong? How is that possible or was it someone else trying to pose as Lisa?

It just didn't sit right with me. This girl claims to have grown up with Lisa and hadn't talked to her in awhile and then hours before she is killed she reaches out to her friend. Probably just pure coincidence but thought I would throw it out there.

She's a gorgeous brunette, you don't have access to the private forums where our pix are so you wouldn't know that...and after that comment I doubt you ever will. hah

I can see where this would be interesting if in fact it was sent at 1:30am! That makes it a whole lot more interesting. And also would prove T's statement that she was on the phone with Johnny at 11PM and heard the intruders come in, was a total lie! Hopefully LE are looking into it!

MSM will pay for personal photos, and home videos. But not interviews. At least that is how I understand it. I don't watch Fox news much. Did JVM have photos (like from FB) on the show? If so, momma's taking it to the bank, for sure. I read, that Johnny's little bros need the money.

I haven't seen the interview but there were comments on here earlier about pics of JC and his mom being shown. Only pics of her and him, none of any other family. Also, aren't his brothers younger? What do they need money for?
