Distance: 1.5 miles, but it's closer because on the Lucas county website it puts this address within 1 mile of the Longacre Ln address.
This was just another avenue to look down and a creepy one at that...
I am sure they checked out these sex offenders, but they did say there were pants or something around Lisa's neck? Right or was I reading something else?
That's a apartment complex. Hidden Cedars Condos. I used to live there LOL Still gross but not 4 pervs living in the same house.:O OH okay 4 pervs in the same building, it's still creepy, lol. 
Not to nitpick but there are alot of buildings, it's a pretty big area. I'd say 10-15 buildings. Still the same you're right it is VERY creepy & one of the many reasons I moved. The place turned to garbage.

Garden Road...how do you explain Garden road...on one side of the street sits nice homes and several developments. In fact it borders on the development where the Straub's live. on the other side of the street is apartment complexes and rental homes and a lonnnnng row of townhouses. It's not surprising at all that mulitple sex offenders live on garden road...in fact, I'm surprised more don't!

Burglary is the intent to break into a building without consent with the intent of committing a crime inside (including theft).

But if I had to take a leap, I would say that they may be calling it Robbery because the victims let them in the dwelling. That they didn't break in, so no Burglary. So they knew them, or why would they let them in?

Just a couple notes about things read on FB...
I've seen the following on Tiffany's, friends of Tiffany's and or friends of friends of Tiffany's
1. Tiffany mentioning that they (her and her boyfriend) are looking to get a place of their own, not sure when but possibly around the beginning of the month (Feb)..obviously, I've deciphered the "gangsta" talk for you
2. Interesting enough, one of the 4 baby daddy's came into a good amount of money aprox $2,900. Now with that being said, it could have been a tax refund, he could have sold somthing and by no means am I accusing him of anything, just found it interesting.

So what was the intended loot:
-drugs?
-cash (from drugs)?
-cash/valuables belonging to Lisa's parents?
Why did the robbery go bad?
-J and L recognized the robbers?
-in response to J fighting back?
-J&L wouldn't give robbers info they needed to get loot?
I still don't see it as a robbery gone bad. These robbers-turned-killers would have come with guns or knives. Why not just shoot them or cut their throats. This method of killing is too personal. I could also see it as a message from another drug seller and his crew to "keep off my turf."

Straub family spokesman Jim Verbosky, Miss Straub's uncle, said her funeral was held Wednesday morning at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. He said a number of people have contacted the family wanting to make donations toward a reward in the case so the family has set up the “Lisa Straub Benefit Fund.” Donations may be made at any Fifth Third Bank branch.
Visitation for Clarke will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home where a memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday.
I'm so glad they were able to have private services and grieve peacefully.
So sad. I drive by St. Pat's everyday and am sure Lisa will be in my thoughts each and every time, just as she is everyday when I drive past their neighborhood.

another update from the local rumor mill:
has anyone heard any "rumors" about allegedly ...ALLEGEDLY... $100,000 being in some safe in the Straub home? that's what I heard....but...I haven't seen or heard anyone (LE, news,blogs, forums,the blade etc) talking about it. anywhere. :O

I did see someone state something about a safe and perhaps the key under LS's body was to the safe. I never saw an amount mentioned tho!

If true (and it sounds plausible), I wonder if Maytee ever reported any of this to LE before Johnny got killed or if she was okay with home invasions happening to other people.

LMAO No they didn't name Mock, just said there were trolls looking at the page or targeting the page. I'm ignorant to computer lingo, the only trolls I know are the ones under the bridge LOL but I have heard the term "trolls" or "trolling" before on message boards & forums & have taken it to be a negative. Just wondering aloud why anyone would be trolling a FB page about a couple of murdered kids. When the woman said please private message me, it's important, it caught my attention that's all.
