I know that doesn't mean it was on, but maybe the perps didn't know that? And it was black duct tape, I don't know about anyone else but at my house we have a lot of duct tape laying around the basement and the garage but not black (old silver type), is black relatively new?

Very interesting. IIRC, a DVD was noted in the press as missing?

seized i believe, not missing. they are a good receptor of fingerprints.

13abc - Friend of Lisa Straub? The newsroom is interested in talking with you. Call 419-534-3858 and ask for Alexis.

Man, I hope so!

Ahhh. Makes sense. I can't help but think that "robbery gone wrong" implies they were sloppy and left prints, DNA etc?

Thank you, yes WOW should have posted this too!

That, and Don Corrigan's record. (Tiffany's former fiancee) has a history of home invasions. Interestingly enough in one FB convo on TW's page, where people were lamenting the death of Corrigan, AG said "RIP cuz." I wonder if he was actually Don's cousin? Or, if he's simply using "cuz" as a term of endearment? Regardless, it seems AG knew Donald Corrigan. I find that also interesting as it potentially relates to the case.

Check out Don's record by the way folks. He had a felony assault for pistol whipping a man and knocking him unconscious.

I never defended him or said anything he did was ok. I just think HE is the last thing on the Straub's mind and if they didn't have a problem having him at the funeral, who are we to judge. Obviously if they didn't want him there he wouldn't have been allowed in.

Who are we to judge? This thread is 188 pages long with ALOT of judgements going on, mostly directed at Maytee & JC. The EX was clearly on the minds of LS's parents when they sat down to make out the list of those welcome at the funeral & THAT to me is telling. I've said it before & I'll say it again, I believe that if both sides of parents had it to do over again, they would have made some different choices. BOTH made shitty choices IMO The Straubs Inviting someone who abused their daughter at one point in her life is a shitty choice, no different than some shitty choices made by the family of the other victim that people don't seem to have a problem making judgements against.

Oh just an FYI, although I tried like Hell to defend Maytee from the beginning because I believe everyone grieves differently, I now acknowledge that she is in fact a fruit loop. That being said I do not think she played a part in any murder plot or robbery against her son. I'm just trying to be fair to both sides.

TW has quite the sticky fingers, taking a lot of things that don't belong to her or she didn't have the owners permission to take, and obviously she endangered those kids, that's really sad! Reading this makes me even MORE suspicious of her, sort of tips the scales for me, she not above being involved in ripping off a friend (JC for money or drugs) and maybe she didn't realize that the psychos that she was with would murder for what they wanted!

i have said from day one here that there will be a gold mine of prints and even DNA on tape and plastic bags. unless they wore gloves throughout. even then, something is ALWAYS left behind at a scene like this. these were NOT pros, they are bound to have screwed up.

I hope you're right. If so, why so long before an arrest? Is it because there is an explanation for the DNA? Or, that they're hoping someone will flip? If they have forensics, I'm having trouble understanding why there hasn't been an arrest. Unless of course, they don't have the labs back.

precisely. i don't think they have all the labs back.
also they will have a problem sorting prints and DNA from people at the alleged party who were OK to be there. they must prove a nexus between prints and DNA directly connected to the murders. it's not like CSI on TV.
people think crimes have to be solved this minute. they often require a lot of work.

Maybe dotting their i's and crossing their t's? DNA results? I think something is going to break really soon, and maybe this leads to places that we don't even know about yet??

P>S> Here's a theory: If I were LE I would milk this for all it was worth, I would shake up every punk in the county and tell them "I think you had something to do with this" and then watch them sweat and then watch all the crap roll, because they would be giving up all kinds of stuff, on all kinds of people!! So maybe LE is using this, not that it's a nice thing to do, but as tool to get other stuff about other crimes out of these punks??

i was party to a case where a crackhead young woman beat her grandmother to death with a hammer. it was an awful scene. we ended up taking plaster casts of her feet to match with footprints in grandma's blood.
she later confessed to me. she got 20 years on a plea where the state had been seeking death.

this case has blood. we just don't yet know whose blood.

Here is DC's criminal record. He's dead, so I hope it's ok to post? I note it because he was obviously involved with persons of interest in this case.

Horrible story. Does the blood involved not belonging to the victims? If so, it's only a matter of time, as you say. I wonder if local hospitals treated any persons of interest? Or if T's car wasn't used to return to the scene, because it had evidence inside?

it's public record. (DC) but he has no connection to this case. except as a friend of someone who does. and he's dead.

This isn't a slam at your comment.

I personally don't care what methods LE uses in getting the info they need. I've never been in bad trouble {only tickets for my after market tint} and I have no sympathy for a habitual fuck up. I sincerely hope the people involved in this are scared out of their minds right now & I'd love to see people spilling their guts in an effort to save their own ass.

Well I agree 100% but some people might think it's not nice, I don't, go for it. Shake every gang member up that you can get your hands on, and tell them "hey I think you had something to do with this" now "tell me something that will make me think different"....
