Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered
IMO-If you want to call someone out on grammar shit, do it in a PM, not the thread! It's a little fucking ridiculous when I am trying to read someone's thoughts/opinions and here is all this drama!

I don't think she's smart either, which could be why she's told different versions of her stories, but I do think she's been around so much violence that it doesn't phase her. Her eyes look dead in some of the photos I've seen, and with the mother she has, her sons all taken off her and her boyfriend murdered last year because of a robbery she apparently set up, I think she could sleepwalk her way through just about anything.

i agree.

Awhile ago Lady Cop did mention 109 Romeo & Juliet 109 I would not know how to find the quote again! If I recall it was about similarities here with Johnny & Lisa - as time goes on you wonder - Johnny had a wedding band on in one photograph but, now-a-days a ring doesn't even matter - Maytee mentioned Lisa's clothes and perfume etc., & Johnny's things in a room - married almost - only my opinion - none of my damn business really, but I sure want this killer/s found the Motive is the answer what is the Motive ?- it drives us up the bloody wall! I am right back to a miserable SOB type of thing with the attitude, if I cannot have her then no one will - what else could it be? It really doesn't matter to him anymore - he was sick that Johnny had her and he was sick in the head that Lisa chose Johnny over him.

Rambled on enough now.

yes i remember thinking and typing that...a tragic tale of doomed young lovers like Romeo and Juliet. i think it partly explains the interest in the case.

She might not have been hands on, but she sure in the hell knows something. I don't believe a damn word that trick (Tiff) & punk ass AG has to say. I have seen the pics, the post & the threats. I smell something foul with these two clowns & it all boils down to BULLSHIT!

Thanks, Dick, and great to see you posting again! I've also suspected Tiffany from the beginning - I thought there was waaaaay too much credence given to the alleged phone conversation and it's always struck me as just a tad too convenient that Johnny would say "who are you", implying that it was a stranger and none of the thugs and criminals known to him. I've become more convinced than ever with everything that's come out since about TW & AP's characters (or lack of!) and their comings & goings. How convenient that AP was at home writing a school paper the night of the murder (at least, according to TW) - I wonder when it was due and when he handed it in? Such an alibi also indicates he was alone, so can he prove where he was? Why was his lady love running around town with an underage boy that night?

Phone calls can be confirmed through records, which is probably the reason TW came forward that night. But the records won't verify who spoke to whom; for example, AP or someone else could have phoned TW from JC's phone to say come get them or to tell her to circle the block a few more times.....

And I'm still trying to process the information that came out via the Justice page about AP and Johnny serving time together, and the snitching accusations from AP. AP's feelings about snitches are so strong he had it inked up his arm, and TW probably feels the same, so what was she doing hanging around with Johnny if he'd reported AP's cohorts for robbing him??!! (I'm not going to call it snitching, which has negative connotations and I don't see it as a bad thing.) Being friends with Johnny would be like associating with the enemy, so there had to be a motive for the 'friendship' such as getting in well enough with Johnny & Lisa to case the house and set them up.

Another thing I've noticed and mentioned before is that Johnny's real friends were genuinely shaken by his death and in some cases their grief was obvious from their FB and legacy posts, and now their tattoos, whereas 'friend' Tiffany only gave it a brief mention in passing several days later, possibly after someone tipped her off that it would be expected from a normal person, especially one whose call had led to finding the bodies. Wonder if she'll also be getting a tattoo to memorialize her "friends"???!!!

You and I obviously have different views about motive, but I so agree with you about the Romeo & Juliet comparison. There's something about the pictures of these 2 kids together that just breaks my heart. They just look SO happy together and SO much in love in every single photo.

If it was just a breaking and entering burglary, why not do it while no one was home? And why not take what was available once it all went down? Imo, it has to be drug related. Drugs and drug money. Which the Straubs would know nothing about. It's possilble that Johnny had a safe, or a lock box of some kind. And he kept it with him. Those holes in the walls of the master bedroom closet? Was that in the news, or just spread around on the internet.

And how much of what LE thinks they know came from Maytee? She is a wild card for sure. And 100% hooked into AP and TW. Going even so far as to bring up DC's murder and the individual that was convicted, J.J.

As far his friends? They seem to fall into two categories. The one's with no criminal records for drugs and robbery, and the ones that come from a long line of repeat offenders. Especially when it comes to aggravated trafficking of heroin and crack cocaine.

And these drug-related criminal records extend into Johnny's extended family also. I'm pretty sure I have found the "truck load of heroin" bust that went federal (1999). And it involved at least one member of JC's family on his mother's side. And that individual is now dead. I posted a link to his memorial fb page ages ago.

So yeah, it would be great to know what the motive was. But my bet is on drugs and drug money. And JC's friends are not excluded because they made a post on legacy or got a tatoo, as touching as it seems, I'm just not comfortable with giving them a pass yet.

The only way TW would be involved, imo, was if it was somehow related to DC's murder. I've known plenty of young ladies like TW, most are locked-up, more often than not. She is street smart, no doubt about it, in my mind. What I call a survivalist. At whatever the cost. DC had a lot of homies. A lot. He was well loved by members of his community. Which included friends of Johnny Clarke.

Was JC an informant? Was he working it to his advantage while serving probation? Personally, I just don't see it. I did post about JC doing minimum security time in London, Ohio before the latest revelation from Maytee and AG. But I just don't see that as being serious enough to revolve into what happened on Longacre Lane.

The End Smiley_emoticons_smile

RIP Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub

Yes fabulous - it sure is hard to believe LE has "no motive" Guess we just have to be patient and hope and pray some lab results or someone with some thoughts on who done this calls CrimeStopper.

Thanks!

RE:

DOES L.E. KNOW MOTIVE - Possibly it is so convoluted and around the bend that the police can not follow it.

JOHNNY HAVING A SAFE - If he did, it would more than likely been in Lisa's
room, not the Master Bedroom.

Thoughts running around in my mind.

Why has no one discussed how 'multiple' people got in and out of
the street and driveway without anyone seeing anything?

We are frustrated. It is unimaginable how the Straub's must feel. I
think the Clarke's know who did it and possibly why but telling the
truth would incriminate someone or put someone at risk.

I feel that LE is saying "no motive" because early on they said a "robbery gone bad". This is their way of backing off from that earlier stated motive.

Maybe it was planned as a B&E and Tiffany was the one to get them out of the house..... Johnny come and pick us up so my people can go and rob Lisas house but Johnny was running late and wasnt out of the house when he was to be. Lisa was a waitress they usually have to wait for all their tables to leave and stock up before they go home. Could be she was running late so TW and her peoples plan went awry .... To say the least. Just a thought

But do we know that no one saw or heard anything that night. One car driving up would not be a big deal. Three dudes getting out of the car. Maybe they, more or less, followed JC and Lisa home. Waited a moment and then pulled into the driveway. But we don't know.

It is the time line that gets me. Because we just do not know. Maybe the murderous scum went to the home earlier, during the Pro Bowl, used the bloody key that Maytee spoke of and found nothing. And then left only to return after JC and Lisa got home. And a confrontation occurred.

This is solvable, imo. Obviously those surrounding JC and the community of the southside of Toledo are not that good at breaking the bloody laws or their criminals records would not expand beyoung the margins of the page.

The investigators have to dog this one. I believe they will.
