I think what Sharit is saying is that maybe Lisa's sister did in fact adopt a puppy, but not Johnny and Lisa's?

Maytee said she went down to the Sheriff's Dept., to pick up Johnny and Lisa's puppy and Lisa's sister had already picked him up.

I don't find it hard to believe that they were bouncing back & fourth. I also don't find it hard to believe that while her parents went on their cruise that they would choose to spend their time at Lisas house. I don't care how "cool" of a mom Maytee was or tried to be.... who wouldn't want uninterrupted private time, especially at that age.

Police are looking into the couple's background as well. Court documents show Clarke went to prison in 2007 for robbery. The young man had been living with Straub's family for several months. Verbosky says the parents were concerned.

"They were trying to help him get on the right road," he says. "Many people ask, 'Why did Mary Beth and Jeff have them two living in their home,' but when you're a mother and you got a daughter...At least they had some control of where she was and what she was doing when she was living with them."

and like I said I read Maytee's own words on fb back in Dec posting comments to family members about Johnny moving out and taking Gotti with him. for me that just backed-up what Lisa's uncle said to the media. I'm not going to go back and hunt Maytee's comments down. maybe she will clear it up on the RIP fb page. My whole entire problem with Maytee is that she twists the truth, and that cannot be good for the investigation. Just the opposite, imo.

When the puppy went to live at the Longacre Lane home , Johnny was already living there and that was back the middle of last Dec. From what I have read, Johnny and his mom got into it over the puppy. Maytee was very sad. But Johnny was not living there at that time. So the whole house sitting story is not true.

Maybe Maytee can clear that up. But I believe Lisa's uncle. Which is backed up by comments I read on fb from Maytee herself back in Dec.

Maytee said she had the doggie's food and water bowl. Who ever said it was a Rottweiler was way off. Even if they did have a fuss over that doggie - it's not a big deal! Maytee Loved Johnny and Lisa.

First of all johnny n lisa lived at our house since they met. second of all when the puppy bit johnnys lil brother it only went with johnny n lisa to her house to be quarantine for ten days till the bite healed then they all came back. Fourth the main residence for johnny n lisa was my house the only time they would go out to her parents house was when they went out of town or just felt lije spending a few days there

Oh and the puppy was at lisas house when we were at the station not the other way around and i dont care who reads this one but her uncle is a liar the first thing he asked at the station when we reached out to him and told him the news was... " did they get marybeth n jeffs safe" i answered how am i supposed to know only they can identify their household items i was never in the house. And god is my witness and so is everyone present at the station those were his exact words and now theyre all claiming there was no safe. Im fed up with all the liesSee More
