And the beat goes on and on and on ... at least in Maytee's head. She has made so many accusations against so many people that it makes MY head spin! Lets see .... what is the number of people that she has attacked. I don't know if we can count that high.

Maytee's hands are stained!! Her past is tainted! Then she has the audacity to attack others!? REALLY????

I truly believe people attempted to help her in the beginning. However, her true colors were revealed and whammo ..... NUT JOB!!!

Grieving mother my ass ----- she is a sick sick individual (I will not call her a woman because a woman - to me - is too good of a word for her).

There are organizations all over this country that deal with the grief of losing a child. I do not recall seeing those people act the way she does. She has cheapened herself and her family. She needs to get back on that boat and direct it toward her mother country (Cuba). Wait, I don't even think they would want her there!

Get a grip Maytee...... SEEK HELP

Good question LC.

Did Johnny work? We know Lisa did.

Per the Blade article http://www.toledoblade.com/Police-Fire/2...d-Twp.html

Mrs. Clarke is not working and her husband is taking time off.

"He's afraid to go to work because he thinks he needs to protect the house because these people are still out there," she said.

Rational, yes?

I can totally understand the feeling that you need to protect your home, fearful that those responsible are still out there. BUT --- the question remains --- do they work. Did Maytee's husband have a job.

If anyone should be afraid it should be the Straubs. These criminals were in THEIR home. I wonder if the Straubs have returned to work.

I have another question ----- Maytee is posting the reward as $50,000 but law enforcement is saying it's $30,000. Is Maytee throwing in the difference?!?

Exactly, and well said!

I would hope they have found the strength to at least carry on. I have a deep respect for the Straub family. Talk about class and respectable.

certain activities and lifestyle that the Straubs had no inkling of brought murder to their home. it wasn't the Straub's activities. they have nothing to fear from a certain element of "society". where others might have very good reason to fear.

If you play with fire you get burned! I think that is very fitting for this situation. I am not saying that anyone deserved what they got because NO ONE deserves that. But, I agree that the element of society that the Clarke's surrounded themselves with contributed to this crime. Maytee was so quick to point the finger at certain individuals that it becomes suspect. Was she trying to sway the investigation in a certain direction.

Funny how you never hear anyone here say one bad thing about the Straub family. WHY? (Talk about class and respectable.) That is exactly why. Smiley_emoticons_wink

This is from the Toledo Blade article:

The detectives don't always go to funerals of cases they work, but the Straub family asked them to come to Miss Straub's private ceremony.

"You get very close very fast with a victim's family," Detective Kozak said. "I wanted to go anyway. Our last picture of Lisa was not something you want to remember, and we wanted to show our support for the family."
