Did you just say that to your mother? I hope she hits you upside the head next time she sees you.

People who move every time something bad happens are called carnies.

I am struck, like most people, by the lack of evidence. WTF? Why isn't there more? We aren't dealing with criminal geniuses. I don't understand that part.

We haven't heard all the evidence yet the way I understand it, didn't they say on the Video all the contents of Lisa's handbag were dumped on her bed why? looking for what? what is missing from Lisa's bag we are left wondering there. We do know they have a ring what is the the ring about? was it Lisa's or Lisa's mothers ring or was it a ring of Johnny's
even Lisa hauled around. Where does the ring fit in? was it sold on the street to a hoodrat by another involved? Much more to come! Let's pray it nails the bastards who did this.

If they were going through Lisa's purse, by definition they are looking for something small (or at least small enough to fit in the bag). They did, however, steal about $40 (if I'm not mistaken) from a jar, so why not see if there's any loose bills in Lisa's purse too? Maybe a key to the safe?

Speaking of keys, I really want to know what how the key that was found under Lisa's body plays into this. Perhaps that is why Lisa's purse was emptied? Maybe they thought it was a key to the "safe"?

I think they were definitely looking for something significant, but while they were at it, scored all they could from the house.

In the Williams case files, there's a filed letter from Robert Miller (Lucas County Prosecutor's Office) to John Thebes & Jane Roman that says "a supplemental witness list is attached hereto (stamped "COUNSEL ONLY"), but due to various safety concerns, is not being filed." (On page 1 of 8...only the first 2 pages were filed)

Page 2 or 8...

"ATTACHMENTS"
State of Ohio vs. Samuel Williams; Case No. CR11-2568

I. ATTACHMENTS [NOTE: Although "open-file" discovery has been provided, the defense attorney(s) may inspect the file of the State of Ohio, excluding work product and privileged material, at a mutually agreeable date and time prior to trial]:

Bates Numbers: 1185-1187
Contents: Plea Agreement dated 1/30/12 re: "TJ" (COUNSEL ONLY)

------------------------------------

Is this saying that someone by the initials of TJ is doing a plea bargain or am I misunderstanding something?

Though this is public information, if the mods on here feel this is endangering someone, please delete this post.

During the Court Video did everyone catch that some photographs of Johnny were torn in half found in a trash basket in a Sunroom at the Straub's home, why would anyone take the time out to do this? thoughts anyone?

it could be a witness like a jailhouse snitch is bargaining for a reduced sentence in exchange for testimony. just a guess. but it's very common.

Lady Cop, did you get a chance yet to view all 3 Videos? don't worry I know you have your hands full and then some, I believe it was the Defense, he talked about evidence at the crime scene being tampered with he mentioned Johnny's wallet on his tummy and a piece of paper was sticking out of that wallet, I think it was a BCI fellow who discovered the piece of paper missing also the cigarette butt was moved, something dirty could have gone on here.

Maybe we will hear more, wonder what was on the piece of paper? Defense is like a hawk!

no, i haven't had a chance to watch.
but the defense always claims, from the defense bible & handbook, that the evidence was tampered with. usually by the bumbling bungling police.

I don't know. But I wouldn't question anyone else for their own personal choice, just in case they read here. I won't speculate on their reasons.

Just watched the vids. Yes, Owl, I caught that about the waste basket with Johnny's torn up photos and a cigarette butt from Sherita. Dunno if it's significant.

There are no vids for the Williams opening, correct?

I still can't believe these scum bags haven't rolled over on the other people yet. I just don't get why they haven't snitched? Are they that scared of the other people involved. Why would you be protecting anyone when facing such serious charges? Oh yeah right one of them is retarded...

Honestly I can't either, especially since science is telling us that there were at least two other people at the house that night! .... I know there's the 'don't snitch code' on the streets, but SW is facing the death penalty!!....

The only thing I found incriminating in that opening statement was that Pettaway denied ever having been in Straubs house. Granted, it's entirely possible that Pettaway did give Williams a cigarette, in some other location, and that would leave Pettaway's DNA on it. If you hand someone a cig, you pull it out of the pack by the filter. Can't wait to hear these conversations between these guys. I do believe they're both dumb enough to disregard the fact that the calls are recorded.

Maybe they were talking in code like the Zimmerman jail calls with his wife?

My thought was were they torn in half because someone was trying to remove them from the photo with Johnny or was it ripped in half because it was simply a photo of Johnny?

In other words what I would like to know is if there are any missing halves/pieces of the photos that were torn.
