Wow how all of us angel
Moms and dads remember all our beautiful kids and names and each other but yet " OUR SUPPOSED TO BE REAL BLOOD FAMILIES ABANDON US and it goes to show me water is way thicker than blood!!!! I guess our longing grief pain for our beautiful kids is too much for them huh? It's ok I know who my true familia and friends are and very selected few and you all know exactly who you are. And you know what? My name will too go down in history because I will fight till I send to hell every last demon monster that took my Johnny and Lisa.

Both of these below comments were posted on the same 3 year anniversary page. Which one is true? Engaged or not? And I recall her saying lisa was pregnant somewhere. Shes so full of lies!

She doesn't use her married name, "Clarke", within the posts.

That tells me it's all about HER.

And she is so twisted knowing she raised her son to be a criminal, she can't even keep her rationalizations (as an attempt to evoke more sympathy) of engaged or TO BE engaged, straight.

Maytee just recently became a Grandmother to a baby girl from Johnny's middle brother. From pictures I've seen the younger baby brother has a good relationship with him and his babies momma. That makes me hopeful that they would finish raising him IF and WHEN Maytee goes to jail

The Motion to Suppress (evidence), filed by Maytee in May, was addressed in court today too. The court records show that opening statements, testimony, and closing statements were heard. The judge is taking the matter under advisement.

The other matter addressed in court today (per ButterflyGirl's post) is the defendants' desire to have their cases "severed". That means that the defendants don't want to be tried jointly as co-defendants, they instead want separate trials. The judge ordered that they must file Motions to Sever by the last day of this month for severance to be considered.


Motion to Sever:
When cases involve the indictment of more than one defendant, usually only one trial is held. This process is called Joinder. Rule 8 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure permits the joinder of the indictments of two or more defendants if they are alleged to have participated in the same act or transaction. For policy reasons courts prefer using joinder to holding separate trials because it saves time and money. However, joinder can create potential prejudices against a defendant, resulting in greater likelihood of conviction, and thus a defense attorney will often ask the court to sever his client's case. Less often, the prosecution requests severance because it believes joinder will prejudice its case. Severance results in a defendant being tried separately on one or all of the pending charges.

If their Motions to Sever are granted, it will make it easier for the defendants to point the finger at each other if they're so inclined, IMO.

Do you mean about severing their trials?

It's pretty common for such a motion to be filed. If the defendants are tried together and the jury thinks that John is guilty, for example, it makes it harder for a co-defendant like Maytee not to be viewed as guilty by association.

Anyway, will be interesting to see how the judge rules on the motion to suppress evidence and the motion to sever. The judge gave the prosecution one week to file opposition to a severance request.

I didn't take it that way Butterfly Girl -- no worries.

I was just clarifying that defense attorneys often prefer separate trials for co-defendants and it doesn't mean with certainty that the co-defendants are looking to point the finger at each other.

I don't know if Maytee would try to throw her husband or her disgraced LEO buddy under the bus, but it wouldn't surprise me.
