But, the cowboys wanted a showdown so they attacked with the BATF whereupon some of the Branch Davidians returned fire which THEY HAD EVERY RIGHT TO DO UNDER TEXAS LAW. Then it became a vendetta and we know what happened. That, and Randy Weaver, turned a lot of Americans against their government.

You might not know this but special forces were used against the Davidians. The 10^th Mountain Division - along with Apache helicopters and tanks! I've seen video, taken by some of the special ops guys, with Mt Carmel in the distance, as they were preparing for the final assault. THEY WERE LAUGHING.

Shit like this is all about ego. Police and military leadership knows it, too. The cowboys get pumped up and if somebody tries to defend themselves or, God forbid, claim some Constitutional rights, it only enrages the cowboys. An attitude exists of "How dare you defy ME!". We the People ALWAYS lose in these contests, as does liberty.

There was a thread, on The Ron Paul Forums, entitled NEVER call a cop. Think about that. There isn't one dirtbag, gang banger or hoodrat on that forum. Everyone is exceptionally intelligent and politically active. They all agreed - call a cop and you could be setting yourself up for the death of a loved one, a pet, or yourself. How is that any better than some totalitarian society where people FEAR their "public servants"? It isn't.

I am so glad the police aren't armed in the UK, the special armed response units have made so many fuck ups shooting people when there was no need to that I don't think all officers will EVER be armed in the UK.

As for the assholes that laid siege to and then destroyed Waco, whenever anyone asks the question "In the event of a revolution would the armed forces of the US fire on their own fellow citizens?" My answer is look at Waco and Ruby Ridge, not only would the vast majority of them fire they would have a nice laugh about it afterwards.

I watched a program called "Unseen Iraq" which showed scenes of US and British troops doing things you will never see on CNN or the BBC. Shooting unarmed people at random, using helicopter gunships to destroy an entire market place, cruising around in their personnel carriers shooting at any vehicle that comes anywhere near them and beating prisoners half to death.

It isn't for you to decide what's important to ME or to Duchess or other animal lovers. I know that I'm in a minority in that I value animal life just as much as human. You think that's bullshit because you have been conditioned to believe that way. So, I think your conditioning has made you callous or chauvinistic, thinking that one species is more valuable than another. See how that works? We all have our own opinions and values. If a cop killed my dog, I would be training with a high powered rifle and planning my revenge. I would not care if I went to prison because my life would ruined after such a trauma, anyway. One of my favorite people, Gerald Celente, says: When people lose everything, they lose it. When someone ruins your life, you have nothing left to lose. One of these days, this is exactly what will happen. Somebody will take revenge. You push people hard enough and they SNAP. Think it can't happen here? Look around the world. And, don't forget that this country was founded on revolt against abuse of power.

I am stating my opinion that I think human life is more important than the life of a dog or a pigeon, I will continue to state that opinion and i will continue to state how retarded I think people who care as much or more about animals than human beings are.
