Just sent this video to a man who has been involved in dog rescue in the destroyed areas. Look at these dogs :( If I were there, I would go, radiation or not.

Yeah, really. From the article it appears undeniable that there is such a program and the US is involved. Whether Fukushima Diiachi is one of the sites seems possible.

The steady stream of lies and disinfo coming from these assholes is just sickening.

I'm afraid to watch the video. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Don't be afraid! They're both very interesting. The one from Japan shows a lot of the earthquake damage.

It's not the damage that I fear seeing, it's animals in distress.

Duchess, I followed the Facebook of a Japanese man who has been involved in animal rescue in the devastated areas. Really dedicated and amazing people are working their asses off to rescue the animals.

And, BTW, all of the dogs look fine. They're probably enjoying running around free. There's hardly any traffic around so they're at little risk from being hit by cars. Radiation is probably the greatest danger.

Duchess, I read a Japan rescue page about race horses in the evacuation zone needing help. Looks like they're just wondering around. So many animals need help!

Shitstorm...Am I getting a correct impression that one of the reactors was a fast breeder and being used for weaponized plutonium in an arms program? Is this strange and inconsistant with the Japanese Constsituion?

Everyone with nuclear weapons capabilities should disclose EXACTLY where those weapons are being developed/stored. That makes tons of sense.

I don't know what a fast breeder reactor is. I have heard these are boiling water reactors. The article I posted indicates that there was a secret program involving the US, but the part about Fukushima having a weapons program is speculation.

In contrast to most normal nuclear reactors, however, a fast reactor uses a coolant that is not an efficient moderator, such as liquid sodium, so its neutrons remain high-energy. Although these fast neutrons are not as good at causing fission, they are readily captured by an isotope of uranium (U238), which then becomes plutonium (Pu239). This plutonium isotope can be reprocessed and used as more reactor fuel or in the production of nuclear weapons. Reactors can be designed to maximize plutonium production, and in some cases they actually produce more fuel than they consume. These reactors are called breeder reactors.

Okay, peeps, here's my public service message. The situation in Japan is VERY bad and the media is not telling us the truth. There has been very little interest in this thread and the subject is to deep, with too much info for me to keep up. There is thread at another board that I frequent that is following this closely. It's already over 1200 pages so just click on the last page and read what can you can. I do that by reading the last post and working backwards. It's the most current info you want, anyway, though that thread is a goldmine of info and videos, with people who understand the science and nuclear power plants posting. One poster called "Engineer" worked at a nuclear power plant and is a good one to watch for. PLEASE go there and read so you will be informed. Duchess and Lady Cop, I trust you know that I'm linking another forum because of the seriousness, my inability to convey all that info, and because I care about all of you. You MUST take it upon yourselves to be informed and do what you can to be as safe you can.

The US is being blanketed by radiation, right now. How much, I don't really know, but it's worse than radioactive iodine. The video I'll post will track cesium. Iodine pills, which we should all start taking, won't protect against anything but radioactive iodine. The only other thing I know of to protect yourself and your animals is miso. Make any soup stock and add a T. of miso to your bowl or cup. DON'T COOK THE MISO. Always add it your to stock (or even just hot water) just before you drink/eat it. After the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan, it was discovered that something in miso forces radiation out of the body. Many Japanese survived the radioactivity because of their diet. That said, the fallout from the bombs was nothing compared to what's going on with these nuclear power plants. This is much worse and it's also a big unknown as to how we will fare.

The map in the video is from the top of the globe (north pole) looking down. The US is on the left. It takes a minute to get oriented to that.

I agree the media are not giving this situation enough attention.

They are saying this nuclear disaster is almost at a Chernobyl like level now.

Could be the nuclear power lobby pressuring the mainstream media I guess.

This is worse than Chernobyl. There are four reactors in various stages of meltdown and it's nowhere near under control. In fact, it's getting worse.
