I have a friend, who knows a guy that went to a Maple Leaf's game.
Can I be a Canadian, too?

I had sex with a Canadian band dude once. I think that makes me Canadian by Injection.

Evi, who is a Canadian citizen, was under no legal hold as a result of her arrest and theoretically could have appeared for her scheduled arraignment. When pressed by the judge for an explanation, Attny. Sanger could only “ask for the court’s indulgence,” stating, “Mrs. Quaid does not want to be separated from her husband under these circumstances.” Unimpressed, Judge Geck ordered the forfeiture of Evi’s $500,000 bail bond and issued a new warrant for her arrest.

WHOOHOOO forfeit half a mil bail! deep doo doo there! a bondsman will sure as hell go after that! what did they use for collateral??

thanks Tiki....fascinating and revealing article. i almost never pay attention to celeb shit, but i like Randy Q. and have watched this case with interest and sadness. obviously i am not a therapist, but this resonates like the classic folie a deux, where two share the same delusions and feed off one another. it can't end well.

i like him, but he's whacko.

Randy Quaid says he would like to return to the United States one day, but he and his wife still fear they are being persecuted by California prosecutors and tabloid media.

Although U.S. officials recently refused to seek extradition of the actor and his wife from Canada to face felony vandalism charges in Santa Barbara, California, authorities in the coastal town say they will still have the couple arrested if they return to the U.S.

The Quaids, who have missed several court appearances in the case, claim they are the victims of corrupt forces and are demanding an investigation.

"I feel like we've been driven out of the country and that the door's been slammed behind us," Quaid told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from British Columbia on Friday. "And for what, these phony little trespassing, vandalism charges? Santa Barbara can sleep better tonight knowing the Quaids are out of their hair."

Not so sure they're wacko. He plays a great wacko in his movies, but I can readily understand some of the right wing wacko's in America who are so tired of the gay, liberal, hollywood drug influenced agenda that they would hire those to target the most outspoken examples of the worst of society. He could be targeted, though can't really imagine why.

One of my best friends, a movie producer named Terry Carr, was murdered mysteriously 7 years ago. He had purchased the rights to over 20,000 movies, and was going to start a "Netflix" before they did. He was murdered on his way to the meeting to make the deal. Lots of famous, influential, and outspoken people disappear. If you somehow missed it, watch the amazing Jack Nicholson in "Hoffa". It will possibly open your mind to the potential for hired disappearances.

This guy?:

The bodies of Carr (from an apparent heart attack) and his 9 year old daughter, Arieka (from suffocation, after Carr's body fell on top of her), were found dead in the back of his car a day after mysteriously disappearing from a grocery store in Ashland, Oregon, leaving Carr's wife behind. Carr had been acting erratically for several day, dumping a box of belongings, including important personal papers and photos, in a pasture on the outskirts of Ashland a few days before he disappeared.
Brother of John Carr, of Clearlake Oaks, California.

That is a fucked up story.

I used to live in Clearlake Oaks and Clearlake Highlands. I think I'm demented because of all the DDT they sprayed around there when I was little.

You think maybe he was ill or doing drugs and that accounted for his strange behavior before he died? The part about his daughter is just horrifying. I don't even want to think about it too much.

And that's fucked-up.
