hi prima, do you have to live your life like a food nazi? eating is fun as long as it's not like gross and stuff.

Is that hard? So can you tell us which fat burner stuff works and what dosent? is there pressure? No more cointreau popcorn?

LC, I watched the trailer finally and it looks interesting...though they seem to focus on a number of young male dancers. Interesting. YAGP is a pretty new comp. When I was a preprofessional it was all about Varna. Good times. Looking forward to seeing this one!

Aussie, I'm a total food Nazi! Haha! I do enjoy food a great deal, but I can restrict when I need to. It isn't difficult, but I'm used to it. The biggest hurdle is to realize the things you want that stand in your way are momentary, and not worth sacrificing what you want most.

Fat burners...well, the basic truth is none will work without making the effort to clean your diet and stick to a fitness plan. They really more help it easier to get that done. Usually through stimulants. Some claim to stabilize mood and such. One that I tried recently was Lean Body Her by Labrada. It didn't bring on jitters and I did feel a mood boost. Lots of b vitamins in it. Cytolean by Gaspari is a good choice, too. Just limit caffeine and drink LOTS of water. Stay clear of xenedrine, hydroxycut, and any of those silly metabolife things.

Just look at it this way. If they worked, everyone would be ripped and buff. They are good for boosts now and then though.

Pressure? Oh yeah. There is a ton of pressure. I learned how to handle it at a young age. It's part of why I'm so sweet and charming now.

There is always room for Cointreau popcorn! Haha!

I'm actually going back on a paleo diet this week so it should be loads of fun.

Sorry for the delay. I was out of town all weekend.

Have you started competition season yet? Is there glitter all over your carseats?

Need to shed a few kilos before bathing season, aussie?

I have come to the sad realization that diet and exercise are the keys to not being a fatass. Some ladies take their kid's ritalin and there is a shot my friend gets (works, but now she is skinny and her hide is tanned like a purse so she started to wrinkle. her mouth looks like an anus), but that is very expensive.

Yep, carbs are your enemy.

Dick already PM'd me for her number.

She's the one that got her uterus cauterized last year. She also smokes like a train and drinks like a fish. I expect her to be fully mummified by the time she hits 45.

She needs to spring for a boob job.

That'll buy her, at the least, a couple more offers . . . young or old.

Actually just completed the season this past weekend. I don't do the Sheru because if I want hot, ovenlike climate, and smelly people who smell like curry, I can stay home. Wait, what?

There's ALWAYS glitter on my carseats. Kid is a gymnast, and they love their sparkles.

On the up side, my bottle tan is fading to a not gruesome shade and I look like I've been chillin' with Cap'n Jack. (and i just went for yet another post contest cheat meal, replete with margaritas. Booyah!)

It isn't called bodybuilding for women, right? Is it figure competition? Do you have less than 10% total body fat? Because that is freaking amazing.

There are different categories for women. Bikini, which is a less defined look. Physique/figure, which will show vascularity and cut (what I compete in) and fitness. Fitness is a bit bulkier and more vascular, and also has a physical routine...dance and tumbling. It's all lumped in with the general bodybuilding term, but since we are women we get more labels. Also, we're fancy.

I finished the season at 9%bf going in to last weekend. I felt pretty good about it, but I'm glad to be able to relax a bit now.
