The reason I am so pissy

Why the fuck can't people just behave like normal rational adults? If that were the case then no lawyers or child support would be needed. A lot less money would be wasted if people had higher IQs and could figure out how to take care of their kids on their own. 5050 would be a good start.

Ramseycat, Are either of you creating hostility towards the other parent? If so, there might be legal ramifications in terms of child support and custody. You might want to check into that.

Anyway you look at it, divorce sucks. I've been there and done that with two young children.

Giving a kid a miserable Christmas card and nothing else is the equivalent of tipping your waitress 25 cents. It's insulting. If he was afraid of Ramsey keeping the kids' money (only an asshole like Dick would think of that one) then he could get off his lazy ass and pick up a video game or something. There was no excuse for this.

I would bet this poor fucker has been called every name in the book, that she has told him what to buy the kids, that she has either not given them what he has given to them or taken them back to the store and either returned them or exchanged them, and that she has gone out of her way to fuck him up every chance she has gotten.

and your trying to equate what I would think of when it come to women who can't get over a divorce that she initiated to being an asshole is not only silly but just goes to show you how right i am.

If she wanted shut of him then she should stop meddling in his life leave him alone and stop trying to ruin him at every turn.

any parent who shows no care, concern, support either practical or emotional, will be old, cold and lonely one day. fuck him, write him off, the kids will decide for themselves as they grow up.
the thing with kids is they think if daddy is bad and doesn't care about me, i must be lacking or bad too. deep inside, even if they can't verbalize it.
the parent who is raising them needs to rise above the neglect and keep his/her fury, rage and hurt to themselves. it's too big a burden for children.

so there is my nauseating opinion. Christ, i'm at FG.

Says the numbnuts.

Im a legend I have seen stuff that others can only have nightmares about.

Have you ever served a move out order on some poor bastard who just got home from work after having deposited his check into the joint checking account just to find out she was there to close the account 15 minutes later while he was getting his ass tossed out on the street?

If you haven't stay on the sidelines, I have seen the nastyness of the greedy bitches who end up with the kids because they have a snatch no other reason, I have seen the kids given to these slovenly bitches who have no means of support and then chase the poor fucking man around for the next 15 or 16 years to get the money to support those kids he could support without any state help.

when this shit gets fair to men then maybe just maybe I might have a slightly different opinion.

I think it's a bit rash to tell her to keep her kids away from their father who is probally otherwise a loving dad. I'd let the kids decide if they want to see him or not. I would never keep my kids from seeing their dad over some stupid bullshit like that, your advice sucks.

Well thank you very much. Is that your professional opinion? Because given the limited amount of information that I was given it was mine.

The card with no money in it may not seem significant to you, but it is significant to the children. They are seeing that they are worthless, it is messing with their minds. The on again/off again status they have with their father is impacting on them psychologically and damaging them. Ramsey is in the middle of it as a mother, she is making that call that the current situation is not working. I don't think she is coming from a perspective of wanting to manipulate the father or estrange them from him. She is wanting to be a good mother and create stability and security in her children's lives.

Thank you for your feedback but in future keep it to yourself. Especially in this area you are out of your depth, I do this for living.

And that's the problem with this world, mental cases giving advice to other mental cases.

I think you should consider changing your profession before you give anyone else your haphazard opinions based on limited information, I hate to think anyone is actually paying you to do this.

Actually, after I posted that I do this for a living, I wanted to edit it, because it sounded arrogant. I am not an arrogant person, but I do have empathy for others....you on the other hand.........

This is kind of like blaming the banks for people who took out shitty loans they couldn't afford. Ya' fucked up picking this one for a spouse/father of your child, Ramsey. It happens. I married one once but fortunately divorced him before we had kids or our finances got all complicated. He's a tard but you have to take some responsibility for marrying the tard in the first place. All you can do now is try to make it as easy on your child as possible. Even though his dad isn't there for him, I would try to tell your child that his dad loves him. A lot. Even though he might not show it well. Hopefully the loser ex will come around at some point but I think if you take the high road, you'll be doing your son a favor.

My parents divorced when I was 5, and from that point on the egg donor complained about how cheap my father was-it didn't matter whether I was in the room or not-she would gripe to anyone who would listen. "she never got enough child support, any present he gave me wasn't good enough, when he bought me a used car for my 16th bday, the egg donor bitched because it was a 'newer' car than she had.

Guess what opinion I came up with? The egg donor is one greedy bitch, who only cared about what kind of misery she could put my Dad through.

The egg donor never had one good thing to say about my Dad-and I hate her fucking guts.

Be careful on the tightrope you are walking Ramsey-even if you think they are not within hearing distance when you talk about their dad, they hear and know more than you realize. Don't turn into the greedy bitch in their eyes.

This guy had money to travel, money to gamble, money to keep himself in booze and money to buy nine dollar a pack cigarettes yet he couldn't give his kids a few bucks in a card. I'm pretty sure that was Ramsey's whole point, he had money to gratify himself but there was nothing for his children. He's a selfish fuck. A good parent puts their children first, he doesn't.

Dick as usual misses the whole point and turns it into, "you couldn't stand to see the things I've seen". Who gives a fuck, you obnoxious twat.

Hampton Beach is nothing but a giant fucking ashtray and garbage dump-I stopped going there years ago, after my kid dug up a dirty diaper while playing in the sand. Jeness is slightly cleaner (I think it gets raked more often). I go to a private beach in Maine now-It's worth paying a non resident fee to be able to dig in the sand and not have to sift out the butts.
