Interesting article. It certainly explains why the criminal justice system is geared toward releasing common criminals and street thugs while locking up the innocent and those guilty of trivial crimes for protracted sentences.

Yes, I agree with the LBJ chronology and actually erased a few sentences about him since I try not to sound partisan. This country is being run by a partnership of republicans and democrats who feed off each other. The two party system is extra constitutional at best but has become a single party representing monied interests above all else.

This situation was instituted while LBJ was in office. In those days people had an excuse to be wrong since even though the outcome had to be what we got it wasn't apparent at the time. Now there's no excuse yet the policies not only continue but are continually expanded.
