I think I posted this song somewhere upthread.

I loved it when I was little (still do) and thought Lynn Anderson was really pretty.



Anderson was hospitalized with pneumonia following a recent trip to Italy. She died today at only 67. RIP

I didn't know this bit of music trivia til today -- Lynn Anderson's album "Rose Garden" was the biggest selling country album by a solo female artist for 27 years.

I've always liked that song, Maggot.

It has a kind of hallow feel to it, even though the lyrics, the voice and the music are rich.
