The service guy just left. He opens the bottom, reaches into the guts of the thing and plugs in the pump. It was loose but not disconnected. I heard the thing humming and thought it was bad. It took him 5 minutes. no charge and off he rode into the wild blue yonder as I smiled and waved "Thankyou whirlpool man" hah WTF.

I paid $160 to get my new one installed, and that was cheap because I paid cash in hand. He had to get a special pipe thing or something like that.

I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of yours Maggot, as the dishwasher is the favourite thing in the house for me.
