Boy bands & Glen Campbell Russian
Shhhh...you don't want to hurt their feelings

Say what you want about Glen Campbell, but he was a million times more talented than anyone from a boy band.

Glen could at least play the guitar.

'Southern Nights' and 'Wichita Lineman' are very good.

I love all types of music. I went with a friend from work to see Glen Campbell, he was a very good performer, good sound, great songs.

A little trivia, he had to cancel his latest tour of Australia and New Zealand, because of his ailing health, he has alzheimer's disease. I hope he didn't poop his pants on stage (OMG Aussie that's bad, I'm bad).

I'm not a big Glen Campbell fan, but I like his version of "Gentle on My Mind" a lot (like Dean Martin's version too).

Years ago my SIL and I took our mothers to see George Strait. They were like two scho girls. He is a good singer but the most boring performer on the planet. He just stood there the whole time and sang and played the guitar on some songs. He didn't move at all. I would rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick than sit thru that again.

'Amarillo by Morning', 'Ocean Front Property', 'The Chair' (i've karakoe'd that one), and many other hits for George.

I don't think I'd pay to go see him though.

Night Ranger on the other hand... yes.

If there were one within walking distance I might go check it out but I probably wouldn't stay.

I don't like packed places, weirdo fans who step on your toes while they're trying to dance in place and music that's too damn loud.

Are you dissing Glenn? The_Villagers

I am a lineman for the county.

And I drive the mainroad.

Lookin' in the sun for another overload.
I hear you singing in the wire.
I can hear you thru the whine.
And the Wichita Lineman, is still on the line.
I know I need a small vacation.
But it don't look like rain.
And if it snows that stretch down south,
won't ever stand the strain.
And I need you more than want you.
And I want you for all time. And the Wichita Lineman, is still on the line.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
