I had considered not coming back even after Lent, but I like/missed some of you guys too much. (aussiefriend, Duchess, ramseycat, HoTD, JsMom,sally, username, etc.)

I missed you too, Clang. I'm glad to see back.

Me too.

Which I've also haven't mostly been doing since Lent. Giving up messageboards and Facebook frees up alot of your time and takes away reasons for staying up late.

Good to hear that you're healthy and rested, Clang.

Hoping you got everything that you wanted done, or at least had a lot of fun, with your extra time during Lent.

Welcome back. 27

I knew you wouldn't miss me because all the ladies dig me.

That's okay.

Glad you've returned.

Are you giving the sermon tomorrow by any chance?

I'm curious as to if the Lenten season of reflection brought Clang closer to the seminary.

Sadly, no. I only had the one discernment meeting so far on March 10th. It was very informal. We introduced ourselves, asked questions, discussed some of our fears of becoming a priest and ate pizza. I told them about my fear of public speaking which the priest assured me would improve with practice. The priest that is normally in charge of discernment won't return from his sabbatical in Rome until May so no formal discernment meeting until then. Another informal one is supposed to take place in April but no date has been set.

I had hoped to use the time away from Facebook, Mock and my other messageboards to focus more on prayer and reflection but ended up doing even more secret crossdressing than usual with my extra free time. On the upside I did also do more job searching and housecleaning than normal. It also didn't help that my Mom went to the hospital during this time with an infected toe that ended up being amputated and right now is in physical therapy/rehab(due to come home April 7th). This of course has caused my dad to become extra stressful and crazier and project/distract the craziness onto me because he has to do the stuff my mom usually does and can't sleep as much as he normally does.

Clang! Nice to see you in Mock!

I don't think anyone has taken the time to tell you this so it's left to me -

The Father, the Son & the Holy Ghost wouldn't care if you choose to wear a Easter bonnet to Mass. They only care if you are faithful and liking to wear dainties has no bearing on that. They just want you to be happy, this I know because Jesus told me so.

What part?

The part that she is a drain on our health care system because she ignored a healthy lifestyle or the fact that she won't be there to "do" for her husband?

I don't know how the hell you let a toe get so badly infected they have to lop it off. Not here. Maybe in some 3rd world country.

She probably has diabetes. Plus Clang's house is very dirty.

You've been to my parent's house? I don't recall posting about the cleanliness/filthiness of my parent's house. The apartment I used to live in otoh was a health hazzard and I almost got evicted.

The Holy Trinity might not care, but the parishoners would and I'd hate to be a distraction and take the focus off of Zombie Jesus on Feaster Sunday.
