NFL 2013 SEASON

There will be no tailgating at the SuperBowl. What the hell kinda shit is that!

Those frickin Cheeseheads sure know how to tailgate.

Even at Milwaukee Brewer games, people are tailgating 2-3 hours before game time.

Unfortunately for the Vikes and the Metrodome, tailgating is very hard to do. Very little usable space.

Now, we're getting a new stadium that'll open in 2016. However, it's being built on the same footprint as the existing stadium. Again, slim opportunity for tailgating.

Vikes are playing the next 2 seasons at the U of MN football stadium. Outdoor football is returning to the tundra.

Better bundle the hell up.

On a side note, if the game this Sunday against the Eagles was being played outdoors, the high temp for the day would be 7F.

The NFL flexed our game for the following week with da Bears.

Tailgating is an institution in some places, a real production. I've never been to one for a SuperBowl but I can only imagine they were epic.

Hmm. What's up with that? Almost sounds like they are expecting something.

In Kansas City, both our baseball and football stadiums are in the same complex, so we have plenty of parking for tailgating. People will show up here as early as six hours before a game. They really get into their barbecue and beer.

I live so close to our stadiums, I can't leave my house for two to three hours before and after football games.

Pointless.

The guy you are shouting at is probably busy snorting coke off Miley Cyrus's arsecheeks in his Bentley as we speak.

Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson, for the seventh consecutive year, became "Andre Claus" for a group of 12 kids from Child Protective Services in Houston.

An 80-second shopping spree for each child ended with mountains of toys for everyone, and a total bill of $17,352 for Johnson. Smiley_emoticons_smile

I think most, if not all teams give back to their communities. I know the Eagles organization is involved with a number of local charities & charities that some of them have created themselves.

hah We'll be just fine this season. They've already played far better than I expected. Anything else is just icing on the cake for me. Kind of looking forward to the next games now that Vick is almost 100%. Chipper can use him to head trip defenses. Put Vick and Shady in the backfield and send Djax in motion. Keep in mind Vick is still the fastest guy on the team.

It's been such a great year, it's been everything I had hoped it would be. It's been a shit ton of fun, especially last Sunday's game.

I read Dave's response to Nick's cover. He mentioned Kate Upton a couple times. Hahaha!

How bout those Denver Broncos? Getting smoked at home sucks, but getting smoked at home against Phillip Rivers as a division rival? Must suck balls to be a Denver fan this morning.

It's called reality.

Just foreshadowing what will happen in the playoffs.

Another crushing loss preventing the Donkey's from going to the Super Bowl.

I thought it was unbecoming of Peyton to make a slight bitch about the short week. Every team has been in that exact position.

Yeah that was a stupid loss. I still have faith they'll be OK but giving the Patriots that much control over home field advantage was just dumb. Play like you mean it, fellas.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I don't think homefield means as much to Denver as it does to the Pats. And now another week about how Payton plays in the cold weather. Brainexplode

And Thursday night games aren't going anywhere. NFL is making money off of them so it's a done deal.

I read a sports writer today & the whole time I'm reading his article I'm thinking, whatta dick, what a big, fucking dick. He reminded me of a female on the rag who bitches from sunup to sundown and then some. Holy shit he was tedious and while this was hours ago I'm still itchin' to give him a little slap.

The guy who does sports for NPR sets my teeth on edge that way, Frank DeFord. He's such a self-important pontificating twat I can't stand hearing him...
